bumping now that we get item rereleases ^^ Since the front page says some items may have good trading value, it'd be really helpful if the site also updates to make the trading part less tedious, since you manually need to check where each item comes from right now

instead of a rarity tag, store items could just have a store tag (sort of like the custom pets have a special tag)

I'd absolutely love having just a month/year or event/year to help with trades!!! Most items are supposedly worth an uncommon from the same year it was released. I do my best to trade items fairly, but man... sometimes in near impossible when you can't figure out when it came out.

I've voiced a similar opinion in the CS discord so I'm just gonna copy and paste what I said there:

Absolutely agree. I think CS needs to pick a side when it comes to items. Either they are collectables like pets and thus should be given rarities for ease of trading. OR items are just meant to be fun accessories and an afterthought to the main focus of the site which it pet trading, in which case keep the no-rarities thing and start rereleasing items in the store (cause the item's rarities and availability don't matter anyways then). Have it be a rotating thing where every month there's a few sets of older items up for grabs again.

I made an item spreadsheet sorted by name with dates beside it,
or by date with all the items names in each section.
This way when you search an item name, you know the year and month it came from.
I tried to highlight things like store items or extremely rare items.
You can make a copy and make your own notes.

Seconding, I used the search to see if there was a topic like this & just having the dates somewhere without having to dig in the archive would be amazing

Support. Will admit that having both a date and rarity would be nice...But personally I don't think items should have as many rarities as pets. Maybe keep it to just four or five (common, uncommon, rare, OMGSR and maybe a special one for c$ store items (like how store pets have the c$ mark in addition to the refular watermark)

I don't use a lot of items myself (mostly keep them as trade fodder for pets) but it would be nice to have some sort of visual indicator of 'value'
