by Gary Dahl. It's a quick and funny read. The book is easy to find online without any paywalls.

I used to have a pet felted rock! It was a rock that I covered with a layer of blue and yellow felt stuff. I don't think I have a picture but it was pretty cool!

Also when I was like 8 I had a whole shelf outside just full of huge gravel type rocks I'd find on the side of the road. Litterally just plain regular rocks, but I loved em.
