As Ive missed most of the advent but... whats this new UR Cake Ive been seeing talked/asked about?

What are the Origins/Where did it come from? Just curious.
Is it as rare as people are claiming?

The UR cake is one of the special releases this year, it's only available through December 18th and extreame luck, since it isn't done growing yet, it isn't in the archives yet

They were released in the rerelease item boxes yesterday. Honestly there's no real way to know how rare they truly are, but considering they've been given the UR tag I wouldn't be surprised if they are. You can see them under their own special tag here

Adding to the Rudolph conversation, I spent an hour sending 1:1 swaps for him, like 20+ trades, all denied. It was super frustrating. In the end I got him for a 2022 rare which I guess isn't bad but like,,, I saw so many people with doubles, I feel like it can't really be that rare \:

oh! yhe, those were released yesterday, still special releases, so I'd wager, pretty rare, I didn't get any myself tho I rarely keep up with items

While Rudolph most likely isn't going to be rare at all (they're usually vu or eu), he's definitely rarer than the rest of the reindeer, so it makes sense you didn't have luck with 1:1 swaps if you were offering the other reindeer. I'd say a 2022 rare is a fine offer for Rudolph given his demand.
I was personally offering popular pets from earlier this event or vu or eu pets from older events/years and would have moved on to newer rares if that hadn't paid off.
