Alison
Peering around, Alison tried to work out an answer to Jacob's question. "Well..." Alison started, "I was thinking of heading somewhere over that way, as that's the direction the horses escaped to. It's possible they got lost in the snow and are still nearby, so it should be worth a look at least."
Alison stated, indicating the direction she was talking about. Hopefully her idea would be correct, but with the way things had been going lately, who knew.

Willow
Willow trotted along before Than, pausing slightly every so often just to annoy him. Suddenly a new, unusual scent drifted past, and she suddenly halted, digging her hooves into the snow. She didn't recognize the scent, but to her it spoke of danger, and she refused to continue, too tired even to just use her abilities to look into the distance to see where the scent came from.

~Jacob~
Nodding, Jacob agreed. "Yeah, that sounds good," He said, turning his head to look the direction Alison was pointing out. Giving a heavy sigh, Jacob thought of what would happen when and if they found the horses again. He wasn't looking forward to having a struggle if they managed to catch one.
"Well, shall we get going then?" Jacob asked, once again glancing at Alison, a determined expression splayed across his face.

~Than~
Than nearly ran into the mare as she suddenly came to a halt, her eyes staring ahead. His anger rising again, Than gave her a venomous glance. Her stopping and starting technique from before had Than so worked up, he nearly just turned and ran, so exasperated. Though Than wouldn't admit it, he was a very easily annoyed unicorn.
"Get moving!" He snapped, stomping one hoof against the snowy ground.

Alison
With a nod, Alison started walking in the direction she had previously indicated, her boots crunching at the snow on the ground. Around where the camp was, the snow was relatively low, but the snow got much deeper outside of the camp. Alison was constantly looking around, just in case there was a horse nearby.

Willow
Willow gave an irritated snort, and in a sudden burst of energy, half-reared and spun on her hind legs, in an attempt to hit Than's shoulder or around that area with her hooves or horn. Attacking like this wasn't normally like Willow, but she was getting more frightened as they got further and further away from the cave where the rest were.

((Willow just loves being irritating She can completely miss hitting Than if you want.
Oh, and that would be the perfect time for the humans to see them as well.))

((Haha, I can tell she does. And Than is just so easy to get to! But no, I think Willow can hit him. Heh, it'll irritate Than more.
And I think it is...))

~Than~
Than wasn't expecting Willow to completely ignore him. And yet, she did, and more. As the mare turned and reared up, striking out, Than was so caught of guard he didn't react. He felt a sharp pain in shoulder from where the mare had managed to hit him. Shock and fury coursed through him, and he let out an ear splitting neigh, rearing up fully. He prepared to strike back at the mare, just wanting to be rid of her.

~Jacob~
As Jacob walked after Alison, keeping an eye out, he soon became lost in though. His mind wandered, not really paying attention to his surroundings.
Jacob was currently in the thought of being somewhere warm with a nice, hot coffee in his hand, when a loud noise met his ears. Blinking rapidly and looking around in confusion, Jacob managed to pin point where it came from.
"What the...?" He looked at Alison, cocking one eyebrow up. "You heard that too, right?"

Willow
Willow was surprised that she had actually managed to hit Than with her hoof, and almost instantly actually felt bad for doing that. But now she would, it appeared, have to fight. She would barely have the energy to attack Than again, so her best option would have been to back down and risk getting injured, but she was also still frightened by the unknown scent drifting towards her that seemed to be growing stronger every second. Willow let out a loud neigh, though not the same volume as Than's, and she reared up.

Alison
Alison had been startled by the loud noise, which was followed closely by another, the second of which she was able to identify as a neigh. She was just as surprised as Jacob was, "Yes, I head that too. I'd say it's the horses we are looking for.." Alison replied, speeding up her walk.

~Than~
A fight is what Than hadn't had in a long time, and Willow rearing up proved to show they both were prepared to dual. Stallion and mares, but it was sometimes possible. Giving a snort, Than lashed out with his front legs, hoping to his strike would make it's mark and hit Willow.

~Jacob~
Jacob picked up his speed along with Alison, keeping a sharp eye out. "That neigh sounded...frantic?" He said aloud, though more like thinking aloud.
As they continued walking, Jacob looked around, when he spotted them. Up ahead and off to the side some, two horses were. One a mare, and the other a stallion. Yet it appeared they were fighting, as Jacob saw the stallion lash out, aiming to hit the mare.
"This day just keeps getting weirder..." He mumbled.

Willow
Willow attempted to dodge Than's attack, but not being practiced in fighting, she still got hit. Than's hoof caught her chest, making her stumble back down to four legs, but she was almost instantly up again, lashing out at Than. She was all but fighting with her eyes closed, which meant her chance of actually hitting Than was very low, but she had to try.

Alison
Alison nodded her head slightly in agreement with Jacob's first comment, though didn't say anything, and she didn't hear his second comment.
When the two horses finally came into view, Alison raised her eyebrows in surprise.
"Well.. That's rather unexpected.." she remarked, watching the mare stumble back after having been hit by the stallion, but then attacking back.

~Than~
Than couldn't help but hold a triumphant expression of his face when he hit Willow, sending her stumbling back. But his triumph was short lived, as the mare was soon back on her hind legs. She lashed out, nearly hitting Than. He managed to dodge the blow this time, dropping to all fours and quickly sidestepping it.
Wheeling around, Than kicked out with his hind legs. As he did so, a strong scent of human caught his attention.

~Jacob~
Jacob watched on, wondering what they'd do. Hearing Alison, he nodded. "I'd say. What should we do? Wait?" He asked, inching his hand towards a rope that hung from his side in case.
As the stallion aimed a kick towards the mare, something seemed to distract him. Frowning, Jacob hoped the stallion hadn't noticed them, but their scent probably gave them away.

Willow
Willow wasn't surprised that Than managed to dodge her blow, and she quickly dropped down to all fours and just managed to avoid Than's attack. She didn't notice that the scent of human had gotten stronger though, but she was now getting extremely tired.

((Haha, It must be about time for Than to get one final attack on Willow then run away. Somehow I could quite easily picture him doing something like that too.))

Alison
Studying the two horses from the distance, Alison shook her head, "Normally I'd say yes, but I think if we wait too long that stallion is either going to do some severe damage to that mare, or get away before we can catch him. From the looks of things, the mare isn't going to be a problem, from the way she's fighting I'd say she's exhausted." she answered. It appeared the stallion had already noticed them, which was unsurprising.

~Than~
After smelling the human scent extremely close, Than decided it was about time to book it. His hind legs dropped back to the ground, his aim for hitting Willow missing. Snorting, he once more kicked out, not really caring if he hit the mare or not. Then he shot forward, and galloped away.
Casting a glance back, Than's eyes glinted. Shaking his head, he looked ahead of him, deciding he would head back to where the flower had been.

((Well, Than did just that, haha. It is something he would totally do, and just did. ^^))

~Jacob~
Jacob studied the mare, noticing that Alison was right on the mare's exhaustion. And as Alison had also said, the stallion aimed another strike towards the mare, then took off at a gallop.
Jacob couldn't help but smile slightly, glancing at his comrade with him. "Well, I guess you predicted right," He said, his hand gripping the rope at his side. His gaze turned once again back on the mare, watching to see what she would do.
