Tsunami glanced over at him, smiling. "Nothing." She said softly, her eyes returning to the floor.

"Ok..." Reeper sighed.

Tsunami glanced back out the window, "Reeper...have you ever...loved another girl like you love me?" She asked suddenly, not looking over at him, keeping her eyes trained out the window.

Valen gasped deeply and then he looked down. "Once...once I did. B-But when men came to take her from me...I ended up..." He dug his nails in his skin. He wanted to lock this memory away for ever but now it comes back. "I killed her along with all of the men who tried to take her...just like my little sister!!!"

Tsunami's eyes widened, and she looked over at him, then looked down. "It's okay, Reeper."

"Ok? Is that all you have to say? Its not ok! It never was...her face...her bloody face and all I could do was hold her...while she cried..." Reeper tried not to cry but it happened anyway. "Now do you see why I dont want you with me!" He bolted out the door vannishing among the forest.

Tsunami watched him leave, and slid down the wall herself, wrapping her arms around her knees. "It's okay, Tsunami. It's okay, you'll be fine. He'll come back...You'll be fine..." She whispered to herself, tears streaming down her face. "I couldn't say anything...I couldn't! He wouldn't love me anymore if I would have told him anything. All I could do was say it was okay...that's all I could do...that's all I've ever done..." Her body shook, and she closed her eyes, sobs wracking through her body.

Reeper hit the tree so hard it fell over and his hand started to bleed. He fell on his knees and cried in his hands wishing the memory would go away.
