dandiliontuft would take the honor of decorating the clan’s tree. first he would find the biggest pine tree closest to the camp. next he would gather large quantities of swamp moss, flowers, pine cones, and red berries from around the territory, accompanied by all of the apprentices so they could help him carry the supplies. he then will spend at least half the moon decorating the giant tree with no one to help by his positive attitude. once finished the clan would gather around the tree and give gifts to those they made gifts for or sometimes prey is exchanged.

shivering-sea is in control of the tree decoration for the second year in a row, though this time there are plenty of chrii to follow its instructions! the tree is decorated with garlands of glittering flowers, some grown by the town’s own members; stones and crystals which hang from the branches like ornaments, right alongside real glass ornaments they were able to make this year; and a mix of human lights and fireflies to light it up. the giant tree required a ladder to reach up to the very top of it, but it’s fully decorated by the end of the day and makes a beautiful centerpiece for the town.
