I know a couple of peeps have asked about spreadsheets to help keep track of their holibombs so I quickly threw together this Google Sheet:
2023 CS Holibomb Tally Spreadsheet- Make a copy to your own Google Drive by clicking File > Make a Copy.
- The "Main" sheet tab shows an overall tally of your sent & received gift counts, a Christmas countdown, and a little goal if you want to set how many people you'd like to gift in total.
- The "Gifted" and "Received" sheets are for you to record your individual holibombs. You can link the specific trade page, record how many pets were involved, and any additional notes. The Main sheet will automatically update as you fill these in.
You're welcome to update the colors/fonts/decorate it however you'd like but please be aware that changing any values in the Main sheet other than A12 or removing any hidden columns could break the formulas, so no touchy. If you are spreadsheet savvy, you can go ham with modifying it however you want or use it as inspo for your own sheet.
Just wanted to say that despite only having joined CS last month, this community has been absolutely wonderful and so generous with their gifts to help out with catching up on 15 years worth of pets to collect! Despite not having a large collection myself, Ive been doing my best to gift more recent WL pets and items that peeps have missed out on. But hopefully this checklist can be another little way I can give back :)
On a more serious note (TW, health/cancer):
I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the start of September and currently half way through chemotherapy treatment. While thankfully its been effective at zapping those pesky rogue cells, its also been super rough for me physically and I try to keep my mind occupied as I count down the weeks that I can be done with chemo. Ive loved reading all the lovely well wish messages, seeing all the creative pet dress-ups and holibomb stories that made me laugh. Thank you for making this rough patch in my health journey a little less crap lol 💖 Not a sympathy post, just wanted to give some perspective on how you never know what sort of life situation people are going through and how your actions can make a positive impact even if the messages received (or lack of because navigating mobile CS is... yeah.. LOL) might not what you had expected.
Have a lovely holiday!
