What is your favorite thing about Holibombs?

Definitely surprising people with a bunch of wishlist pets out of nowhere. c: I get so much joy out of the excitement!

What is your favorite thing about Holibombs?

Spreading so much joy! Like zeebs said, it's a great way to clear out doubles. I've been playing since 2012 and I've collected every pet that's less than rare, so a lot of my trade groups of uncommon and under pets just sit there for years on end. Being able to gift them out to people who properly appreciate them is awesome! And, because I have so many pets that are on the older side, I don't ever really have a hard time finding pets on people's WL to gift them. One hour in and I've done 40 gifts, 25 of them 5+ WL pets! It feels great to give to people who appreciate it. I used to run an "answer the question, win a pet" guessing game (which I'm just now realizing is still linked in my sig but the topic doesn't exist anymore, whoops) for the same reason but most people seemed to just skip over it in the free pets thread because guessing was too much work without a guaranteed reward. Towards the end it was just maybe 5 players still actively playing the game. The holiday season really ignites everyone's sense of gratitude and joy, and gives me a sense of purpose to my gifting! It's exciting for both the gifter and the recipient!

I've seen quite a few people talk about creating a spreadsheet to keep track of holibombs they send, I was wondering if anyone happened to have a template? I'm not too familiar with creating spreadsheets from scratch and would love if anyone had any input they could provide (:

I have a few groups of pets I need to organize totaling over 3,000. So I'm going to try to speedrun that and really top off my trade group (which I use for gifts). Better look out I am spring cleaning (in winter) and then throwing them at all of you muahaha

qotd: honestly, getting to interact and chat w so many people?? its entirely because i just. havent gone out of my way to do it before that this is new to me. but its been so fun getting involved with everyone and getting to see people's reactions to gifts

i'm coming back in here to say... WOW!! i underestimated how fun it would be, and i had an absolutely lovely time bantering to and fro with cyan cat!! we got to be silly with genshin references in our messages, and it was overall just such a blast. i may be starting with a loss after not being able to counter their pickle (i found myself in a pickle as they teased), but it would be the understatement of a century if i said this wasn't one of the best things i've done on here in a while. <33 thank you for the fun time and happy holidays!
