I know, there's not one where I am either!
Starbase Typhon is a roleplay run by me, off site. It is Star Trek based (but not the new movies, as you will see) and it definetly needs people who are willing to be active, write with great grammar, and of course, are semi-literate or above. Format is play by Nova, which involves multi-person posts that are a different way of doing things that here of CS. But it's lots of fun, and we need long term people who will help us complete our missions. As the commanding officer of Typhon, I invite anyone who would like to give it a try to please apply! (Warning that quality of applications is strictly judged. Very strictly judged.) The link is in the image.

There's a Doctor Who convention by me, too~ I've only been there once but I plan on going back every year.
There are no Doctor Who conventions anywhere near me D:
Though I did find a huge fan club in New York City. Close, but no banana. :c
By the way, nice scarf. c:

Huge fan Clubs? Conventions? I'm the only person in my town who knows it exists let alone worships. Nobody to talk to about possible plots, fave docs, and companions. My life was hell until I found this. Peace be with you. Fish Fingers and Custard!

It took time, but I eventually made all of my friends into Whovians with persistence~
Becasue of this, some noticed more and more sci-fi nerds and started a Doctor Who club. One of the few things that made me want to go to school x3
We watched episodes and discussed afterschool on Wednesdays and watched a random episode on Fridays c:

I am jealous. Very, very jealous. I know some fans at my school, but not a lot. Most of my friends are fans though. I find fellow geek pretty easily. That or they find me first.

I'm not that good at spotting geeks. They tend to hide a bit at my school.
