Anyway a topic to talk about, is where is everyone with the series? How far are you?

Isn't Dattebayo just a "shout out" To the people who produce it? :V Since Dattebayo represents Naruto? Or is it produces? I know Shanyaro does the dubs and that's why Sakura says it sometimes. Or that's what I've heard. :T

Either way his "ttebayo" doesn't really show up too much in the manga, and doesn't bother me when I watch the movies. I do find it cute that he got it from his mother who says "dattebane!" though. And from what I heard dattebayo is just a catchphrase that doesn't really amount to much of a meaning. I don't care enough to check though. So feel free to prove me wrong.

I personally dislike the transition from Dattebayo to believe it in the dubs, was happy when they quickly took it out.

Edit: I wouldn't consider japanese translations of certain phrases spoken once in a while by characters "simple logic".

Fave character: Oh boy. Kakashi had me at "1000 years of pain". the audasity, the outragousness, the insanity. and the love for Jirayah's books reminds me of when i torture myself by reading bad smut at the one site. my eye twitches and there is lots of screaming in my head. the quarrels between Deidara and Sasori over if art should be fleeting or permanent is so existential. I'm kind of blank right now to say who i love or loath.
Anko is pretty cool.
Hidan was so over the top it was hard not to enjoy him as a villian. Not that I had the hots for him.
Sai is kind of cool...

Worst character: I can't think of one. I guess everyone's cranky fallen Sauske duckbutt Uchiha. Sakura is being less annoying

Picture of your favorite character if possible: I have a photo in my DA scraps of me with an ANBU Kakashi doll.

Your own jutsu: I forget if I fully converted my Alpha character into a Naruverse one. or what my signature skill would be. I put myself in my own characters in their own world. so converting theirs into Naruverse Jutsu is hard. There were characters who can fly under the radar of the senors right? I forget really.

I was watching the episodes, but lost track, I don't like the voice cast for the dub, and read the manga to catch up from not being there from day one, to the new episodes.

I'm going back and reading some old pages. wow. I hope this club dosen't become a cesspool of dumb and fail.

1) Naruto won't end in a YAOI way. not everything has to revolve around "homosexual love". Romance can be a part of a plot, but Naruto is a story of a boy/man's chosen path, he goes from a immature brat to "savior". His growth went from hating people who saw him a monster, to getting over it, accepting things as they are, and helping. It is a story of war, revenge, good vs evil. it won't end with "OMG so cute, Narusauske forever! He'll find him and the'll kiss and the war will end and world domination plots will be scratched because it's such hawtness".
that is the dumbist idea ever. Romeo and Juliet ended in deaths. if anything there will be a "Redemed in death" for Sauske, if he can be redeemed. Who knows, maybe the titular guy has to sacarfice self to get rid of the bad guys.

2) again, I'm not being homophobic or hateful, but why does everything have to be gay? I make the odd joke or too, and watching LoTR with family, we see the "ho-yay" subtext and make jokes. it is funny because I'm the one who lives on the 'net. I let them know "hey yeah, people do this on line all the time haahaha this is funny, want me to find you some 'fics with Sam and Frodo?". Why does Naruto need everyone to be gay? And bashing "shippings" is stupid. You'll all call me mean for things, but to see people fighting over another work is "derptastic". let the man do what he wants with his work. Naruto has crushes, he has loves, but his purpose is one that he can't be held down, not now. how would making several romance arcs help the story? how would it make it better?

eh, i agree, but i also disagree(with the army-closing matter, not the Naruto/Gaara thingy). sorren fey was kinda right, the army had more posts and activity than this club, but half of it was spam! and we warned each other too! gah! but, I do believe that this came first and it is very similar to the army, and the mods do whats best for CS. not just to rain on our parade.

however, yeah, its sucks that it closed, lets try NOT to spam this one up because this one never started off with spam or chatting. If we stay on topic long enough, people will be flockin' over here to join the club! we gotta keep bumping it up with Naruto talk! not randomness about chainsaws(that confused and scares people xDDD) the army was fun when the mods didn't know about it xD but I told you guys the mods would get mad!!! i predicted the furtuuuree :3

3) demi role playing is fun, I hate being made fun of for my nonsence, but seeing people be encuraged for posting "nuhuh hfjhgklhjkh dun you say bad things about mah _____________, or I'll get my supa powerful jutsu on ya! and my wizard skillz too! *goes to beat you*" NOOOOOOOOO. berate, grate, drag them down the highway tetherd to a speeding car.

1) I'm a yaoi fan girl, and i know quite a few others. We do NOT want everything to be gay, we just tend to think that couple is sweet, me? I'm a Sasunaru fan, and i don't EVER say "OMG so cute, Narusauske forever! He'll find him and the'll kiss and war will end and world domination will be scratched because of the hawtness" .... I have not ever even ONCE acted/spoken/typed like that. I do beleive, that my freind, is stereo type. Yes some fan girls are like that, but i find it highly offensive that i can't like a gay pairing because it won't happen I'n the story. Even Kishimoto said himself that his favourite yaoi pairing was SasuNaru. And I've heard rumors that the end of the manga will be shounen-ai. And if it is, nice, if it isn't, bummer. Us fangirls aren't going to go on a fangirl rage of destruction. >.> ... i hope.
