the sungarden camp is situated in the ruins of a small treehouse-village, with the only remnants being the perfect size to hold a family of cats. its a maze of weathered structures, the ruined & unlivable expanding far into the forest. their camp resides in the centermost, on the tallest trees, enoughso that their dens can peek over and they can watch the forest. the houses themselves are skeletal structures of what once, but vines & overgrowth have created natural walls & shelters. these homes are connected by a complex system of interconnected bridges, platforms & walkways. maybe houses are directly connected by this system, melding seamlessly to create larger dens and communal spaces, while others, connected by narrow bridges & more dangerous jumps - whilst offering panoramic views of the surrounding forest. the camp creates an intricate maze, that only they know of the exact location and how to get to their home, by weaving through the outermost ruins - offering a sense if protection & unity.
theres remnants and ruins of baskets, those of which select cats have learned to recreate the wovened baskets - to create baskets for herb-gathering, berry-gathering and ways to carry charcoal into the camp from fires taking place at a safe plains-clearing nearby. theres whispers of the ancient civilization by drawings carved into the wood and the book here and there.
each den is carefully crafted from woven vines & flora, along with salvaged material - decorate by the clans firebringers across the years.
leaders den
an elevated haven, perched on the tallest ruin - through years the branches have been built up to provide a safe & sturdy home for the leader. the entrance is an arch, framed with a tattered curtain woven from vines. the windows have shards of coloured glass amongst them, which filter sunlight to cast vibrant hues upon the weathered floors. their nest is fashioned of woven vines & soft moss, creating a cozy resting place for the current & past leaders. on the wooden walls & the branches and peeks of the trunk, the firebringers have been invited to draw the leaders history of charcoal, with splashes of colour strained from berries.
deputys den
the deputys den is nestled just beside the leaders den, a few steps down. its nestled closer to the tree and has more shadowing, yet its still full of colour from shards of coloured glass being placed to fill the gaps of rotted wood. the nest is crafted from the same woved vined and moss the leaders is, and its situated below a larger stained glass window. the past deputys pawprints in charcoal mark the branches that peek in through the ceilings.
medicine cats den
the medicine cats den is a blend of healing & artistry, sporting stained glass windows graving the walls. these windows were made with a skill claw, depicting scenes of herbal lore, ancient remedies, and the interconnectionness of natures healing energies. their nest is nestled in alcoves adorned with herbs & fruits, surrounded by some of these larger windows. dried herbs hang from the ceiling, and worn flower boxes adorn the outside of the den, where easy-to-grow herbs are kept.
firebringers den
the firebringers den is a haven of creativity & crafts, featuring large stained-glass windows depicting the firebringers history, the clans lore. these panels depict scenes of craftsmanship, innivation & the connextion between the firebringers and their creations. windchimes, made of leftover shards, hang from the ceiling, catching the light - their den is so full of colour and reflextion. the walls are covered in 'murals' depicted by a firebringer, painted primarily with charcoal with a splash of berry-paint. their nests are tucked into a darker corner of the den, all very close together - almost meshed into one, where these cats curl into each orher - they see each other as their non-blood family.
warriors den
a bustling hub within the camp, the dens are houses scattered throughtout & hidden within interconnected pathways. their windows depict scenes of courage, past won battles & their lows and how they came to be, & the ever-changing besuty of the forest. their den is lined with a soft moss, with specific nests fashioned from woven vibes and moss, are carefully ppace to allow each cat to catch a glimpse of the windows. between each den is a perfect birds-eye view of the forest, perfect to keep an eye on things just in case.
apprentices den
a lot like the warriors den, theirs is constructed from a series of smaller interconnected dens, fostering a community amongst the younger cats. their windows depict scenes of adventure, curiosity and the boundless opportunities to come. their nests are woved from vines and branches, lined with a soft moss, arranged in a circular pattern within each den. apprentices decorate the walls with paintings of charcoal and berry, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm for whats to come, along with tips & secrets for newer generations to thrive.
queens den
a serene sanctuary, situated near the leaders and deputys den - boasts a den with half of a ceiling, full of both natural light & the fun colours of their windows depicting motherhood, natures wmbrace & the eternal cycle of life within the clan. their nests are a 'step-up' into the darker areas, settled right close to each other offering a supportive & harmonious atmosphere. paintings of charcoal & berry decorate the walls, painted by the kits - some being simple paw prints, some being those of their families & kithood friends.
elders den
the previous warriors den, long since outgrown houses the eldest and wisest of the clan. their windows are faded, offering muted hues instead of bright radiance, depicting the clans legacy - offering a sense of storytelling to the elders abode. their nests are more hidden, offering more of a sense of privacy, while still being close to their vibrant history. paintings of char & berry decorate the walls from kits, attempting to retell the elders stories.
communal area
in the heart of the camp, the communal atea is a lively space adorned with draped vines & makeshift decorations. the cats gather on weathered platforms, sharing tales undee a canopy of leaves. theres a ton of moss-covered cushions that serve as cozy seating, circling a central tree trunk where meetings are held. the cats come here to enjoy one anothers company, share stories & groom. it serves as a hub of activity, where plans of the clans future are woven into the fabric of their clans sanctuary.
