If you noticed anytime you submitted a post, it also caused the bottom of the forum to stretch; this is what indicated to me that it might be a signature coding issue.
Let me know if this resolved things on your end!
unfortunately this hasn’t helped, but thank you anyway
I’m not super skilled when it comes to bbcode, so I’ll have to keep that in mind for next time I alter my signature lol
The only thing I can think of is that it could potentially be an issue with chicken smoothie on safari browser, but otherwise, I’m not too sure what the problem could be.

This seems to be an issue with phpBB forums interacting with specifically newer versions of iOS.
It’s not exclusive to CS, but also affects another site I use that is also phpBB and the admins there have investigated and found it’s not something on their end. They have no idea what’s causing it, just that it’s not something they can fix.
Everything is normal on my old iPhone 6s running the latest version of iOS 15, but ever since I switched to a newer phone running iOS 17 both CS and the other site I use’s forums have looked like that when posting. Other users on that other site have reported the same problem with iOS 16.
It also appears to be purely cosmetic as all the buttons still work as intended. It just causes quite a bit of extra space between the coding area and the actual textbox for some reason. It's mildly annoying to look at and scroll past every time so I hope it gets fixed eventually, but at the same time as far as bugs go it seems pretty harmless and therefore if it's known about it's likely low priority.
