If CS had sponsors, what sponsored pets would you wanna see?

There was a small discussion about this in the November ‘23 Discussion Thread yesterday and now I’m curious about what pets you’d like to see if CS was sponsored by a company. For me, I’d love for them to have a sponsorship with HarperCollins so that we can get brand new Warrior Cats, it’s long overdue in my opinion!
(I need an official Ashfur and Squirrelstar so I can die in peace…)

What sponsored pets would you like to see? Could CS ever be big enough or important enough for a sponsorship?

Adding on to my original post, I don’t think every pet on CS should come from a sponsorship. There should obviously be normal pets too.
This is only a hypothetical thread, there’s no way CS could ever be sponsored by anything, it’s too niche. I only really intended this thread to only be for pet ideas anyways.

totally agree with the two users above me but this is a totally harmless hypothetical line of questioning so i'm gonna say sanrio! i'd love to see some cute hello kitty, pochacco, pompompurin, etc. pets!

I understand that it's just hypothetical, I just don't want staff to think that maybe people might like this. Something I wouldn't be against though is a "crossover" with another adoptable site! For example something like Flight Rising would get a sunback plush as items for dragons and maybe CS could get a courier dragon in the FR logo colors.

Yeah, I'd like the pets to remain extensions of imagination, self-expression, advocacy, and awareness. Please don't use the pets as an occasional advertising medium for companies. The ingenuity behind the designs is one of the things that makes CS such an immersive experience.

I also think that extending the topic from the original discussion thread to its own post makes this conversation a bit more than hypothetical. By doing so, there's at least some intent to gauge interest on a practical level.

Personally, I'd rather not see any sponsorsed pets - wether it be from businesses or IPs/Licensed media.

I don't mind little tongue-in-cheek or veiled references that can be passed as other things (ex. The Phasmophobia bat litter can also just be seen as occult objects for example) but don't want outright "Hey, this pony is Twilight Sparkle" or another food pet that's just a container of McDonald's French fries.

I personally don't mind when pets are inspired by established franchises or something like that, like the Sanrio inspired dogs we got recently.

But straight up actual sponsored pets or items would suck the soul right out of CS... We don't need Raycon earbuds or a McDonald's Happy meal item and a dog dressed in a McDonald's outfit to go along with it or Coca-Cola stuff or even Disney pets. Please just all of the no.

Just makes me appreciate that CS is niche enough for this to never happen <3
