Notes
- Ghosts must be from different eras/distinct periods of time. Feel free to take inspiration (or even use) from a character from the series.
- I'm entirely aware that there's a US version of the show. This is not based off that version, only the original BBC one.
- The roleplay will start after we have at least 5 ghosts.

Suggestions
- A few suggestions for specific eras/periods of time for your ghost (will be removed if someone uses one).
- Stone Age
- Iron Age
- Middle Ages/Medieval Era (c.475-c.1500)
- Georgian (1714–1837)

- No other 1900's ghosts will be accepted.

Juliet Reinhart | 25 | Female | Lesbian
Appearance: Juliet's hair is currently in a protective style, and when down, reaches to her mid-back, though she usually keeps it tied up either in a bun or with a silk scarf. Her eyes are very dark brown. She stands at about 5'6", and she has a fairly lithe, though athletic, build. She holds herself with a decent, though somewhat relaxed, posture. Her dark skin doesn't have any scars, but she does have a splotched birthmark on her left shoulder.

Personality: Juliet is a warm and outgoing presence wherever she goes, usually willing to strike up a conversation with anyone, enjoying learning about other people and their interests. She appears to be trusting and naive because of this, and other people try to use this to take advantage of her, though being underestimated before revealing that she is entirely aware of any plan or attempted manipulation is something that she seems to thoroughly enjoy doing, showing perhaps something of a mischievious side and is certainly not as innocent as she may appear. Juliet also has the tendency to speak her mind, especially if there's something that she doesn't particularly like, though she's trying to hold herself back from doing so - though her facial expressions tend to give her thoughts away anyway. Regardless, for those that she can truly trust, Juliet is incredibly loyal.

Short Bio: Graduated from university a few years ago, with a degree in tourism management, Juliet hasn't had much luck in the way of figuring out her career just yet. She does work a decent job, but it's not where she wants to be. So, it was certainly a surprise to her when she found out she was distantly related to a family she'd never heard of, and had inherited a house that she'd never been to. Juliet, deciding to keep the house 'in the family' instead of letting it be sold, moved into the house with three close friends - since she'd been looking for a place to live with them anyway. She's still not quite sure she believes this is all real, but she has big dreams of turning part of Button House into a hotel... and is about to discover Button House has more to it than meets the eye.

Theodore Carter | 38 | Male | Homosexual (closeted)
Date & Cause of Death: 29th November 1923, gun shot wound.

Appearance: He has somewhat short, brown hair that is brushed over to one side, and dark brown eyes. He is quite tall, standing at 6'2", accentuated by his formal posture. He has an athletic build, with a little muscle. There is a gun shot wound on his left abdomen, but he tends to keep it covered with his long coat.
Theodore wears what he died in - a formal shirt, tie and trousers, with a long inspector's coat over it. He also has, in his pockets, a notebook, pen and a magnifying glass - these objects he is able to use, since they were on him when he died, although anything he writes in the notebook disappears after a few hours.

Personality: Serious, though still somewhat friendly, Theodore Carter is an intelligent, dedicated detective, although he does hide something of a darker side to himself. He can be cunning and manipulative, using the facts he is given to derive conclusions that may not be entirely true - but he can certainly make a convincing case for them. He is very secretive and embarrassed, though, especially about his death story and his sexuality - both of which he has not told anyone about. Theodore likes to take a leadership role, and can command attention quite well. He loves mysteries, and gets quite excited to solve them - something that he is genuinely very good at.

Short Bio: Referred to almost exclusively as Inspector, or Inspector Carter, Theodore Carter was a renowned member of the police department. He was at Button House, investigating a murder that turned out to be a ruse to trap him. This was because Charles Button, the supposed victim, discovered that Inspector Carter was embezzling from the police department, and feared Inspector Carter would kill him for discovering this. So, Charles Button faked his death, knowing that Inspector Carter would investigate. Throughout the night, Inspector Carter was able to find and establish evidence and motive to pin the blame onto Charles' brother, Cecil Button, and his fiance, Florence Colleymore. Then, Charles Button revealed the truth, that he was still alive and that Inspector Carter had been embezzling - and had even managed to steal funds from the Colleymore accounts and intended to flee the country. At this, Inspector Carter attempted to attack Charles Button and flee the house, but was shot in retaliation.
Theodore has not told anyone his death story, mostly embarrassed by it.

Mel is a very pretty young woman. She has long wavy brown hair. It reaches her mid back, and she usually pulls it back. Her eyes are a pretty blue-gray. She has peachy creamy skin. She has long lashes, full lips, and nice nails. She has a variety of clothes. She seems to favor reds and pinks.

Personality:
Mel is a kind, caring, loving, and loyal type of girl. She's playful, friendly, silly, and fun loving. She's honest, trustworthy, cuddly when she wants, and intelligent. However, she's stubborn, hard headed, wild and loud. She's fiery, too talkative at times, or too quiet, and doesn't always listen. She can seem cold if angered, seems aloof if annoyed, bottles things up and won't talk to people about it, as well as having a phobia of tight places...which she's told no one.

Short Bio:
She graduated from college with a degree in service dog training. She herself has a service dog, as she has seizures severe enough to need an alert dog. She'd been looking for a place to live, and has three friends. One of them, Juliet, inherited this amazing house. They're all going to live there together, and Mel thinks it will be fun. She has no idea who, or what, actually inhabits this house..

Siris is an average height, attractive male. He has tanned skin, as he liked to be outside. He wears a gray suit and white shirt. He also has a trenchcoat. His hair is soft and curly, to his mid neck. Its dark in color, and his eyes are a gorgeous gray shade of color. He has full lips, medium lashes, and nice nails. That's all there is to him, aside from the fact he'd wear glasses when he was reading.

He appears to be soaked, as well.

Personality:
Siris is quite the friendly and playful type. He likes to be around others, and can cuddly. He's silly, fun loving, but can be serious and sensible. He's down to earth, intelligent, loyal, and helpful. However, he's stubborn, hard headed, willful, and doesn't always listen. He can be wild and loud, but not often enough to be a terrible bother. He has bouts of nerves and anxiety. He can be too talkative, too quiet, withdrawn if upset, and bottles things up.

Short Bio:
Siris worked for a well known family. He took care of and rode their horses for them. He also liked to visit with the dogs. They had four hunting dogs. One day, he was walking around the pool. He accidentally tripped or slipped, fell in, hit his head and blacked out...Well, you can guess the rest of what happened there, then. He woke up as a ghost, and was quite confused and concerned, but is getting used to it.

Yes - all ghosts must be from different eras/periods of time. Preferably not within a few decades of each other either, to spread out the timelines for them a bit more.
Also, since ghosts remain the way they were when they died, I imagine Siris would appear as though he's soaked, given he drowned.

Changed it to 1888, that's a little more than 30 years before Theodore (since you said a few, which is two or three, so two or three decades is 20-30 years)

That works, and is towards the end of the Victorian era.
