Yes, but mostly because I fear dementia. I've worked in a nursing home and watching people slowly turn into husks of their former selves is one of the most horrifying processes I've ever witnessed.
No, because I've been vey lonely before, and have come out the other side. I've seen it at its worst and I know it can get better.
Do you fear, specifically, the movement of a house centipede?
