They would need to add a lot. Not sure about the CS Bday lion, but I know the Joker pps gets at least 1-2 09 (ex*) rares.
The cat on your side is a store pet, and worth a late 2010 rare/very rare.
All in all they would need to add 2-3 09 rares / very rares and a 2010 rare / very rare

* this doesn't mean extremely rare, but in this case refers to the fact that most 09 rares prehaul have turned very rare now

I sent this trade because I really want bulk lower demand pets, but am I asking too much?

the dragon gets 0.5 ma, or 3-4 09 rares/very rares
I'm not even sure why people are still trying to push that thing to 1 ma, even though is far less rare than people think (after the rarity change even more)
The first eight pets would be completely fine.

Technically very unfair to them, if you go by year.
A 2017 very common would be worth 12 very commons from 2023 if you use the 2:1 rule.
However, considering these pets are relatively common, and quantity between more common pets gets ridiculous very fast:
I'd say adding 2 more 2023 very commons would make it look a little bit better.

Very unfair to the Grinner.
They get 2 ma, and their side offers roughly 0.5 ma due the extremely low demand of rats.
As active trader for rats I have never seen these rats getting more than 2 09 rares.
