Main Page - The main page for Perosomo. It contains all the information regarding the species.

→ Trait list - The list of the traits and mutations perosomo can have.
↳ Elemental Trait list - The list of the 'elemental' (super rare) traits and mutations perosomo can have. These traits are very rare and CANNOT be added to MYOs unless stated otherwise - they're usually released with events/milestone adopts, but may periodically be released otherwise.
↳ Event Trait list - The list of the event exclusive traits and mutations perosomo can have. These traits are specific to events and cannot be added to a MYO without the required items/permission.

→ Staff - The staff who help run the species; this includes drawing adopts, moderation or other tasks.
↳ Staff Applications - The form you must fill out if you are interested in a staff position.
↳ Artist Search - A place to show your skills if you are interested in being an artist (not mandatory when applying for an art position, but preferred).

→ Rules - The list of rules you must follow when engaging with this species.
↳ Rule Confirmation Form - The rule form you must fill in before signing up.

→ Stamps - Stamps that you can put in your bio (or elsewhere) which helps direct people to our page. You have no requirement to use them, they're just there if you'd like to use them.

→ Adopts - The hub where adopts are posted under.

→ Events - The hub where special events are posted, including limited adopts, items and tasks.
↳ Critter Hub - The hub for 'critters'; smaller species which somo can adopt - these are usually event exclusives.

→ MYOs/Customs - MYOs/Customs is the place where all the custom-made content goes. This includes customs, MYOs (Make-your-owns), adding edit items, nursey growths, adding stars/redesigns, etc.

Welcome to Perosomos! Let's get you started.

To get started, make sure to briefly read over the rules to make sure you understand our expectations and restrictions.
Once you have, please fill out the rule confirmation form.
From there, you can use the included form to sign-up on the main page!

Once signed up, you will be given a personal archive in the sign-up storage.
This usually gets added pretty quickly but can take up to 2 weeks depending on activity and such.

What's next?
Once signed up, you're welcome to...

Enter any open adopts.
These open periodically and can be found under the adopt hub.

Buy a ticket and make your own.
You can buy a 'make-your-own' ticket from the store and use it by filling out the MYO form on the MYO/Customs page
It should be noted that you obtain 1x Uncut Life Crystal [Standard MYO] for signing up - this ticket includes unlimited standard traits and can be used whenever - feel free to get access to the MYO page using this ticket!

Enagage in town square activities.
You can join in with the current tasks, events and games going on in the Town Square. These can earn you prizes such as starfruit (our in-world currency), MYOs, edit items (which allow you to change pre-existing somos) and other prizes!

Join in events.
Other events will be held in the event hub! These events are limited-time and include rarer prizes and special traits.

Feel free to join the Discord!
Get notified of adopts, join giveaways, and engage in the community! You don't have to join if you don't want to, but being around can be helpful to be the first to get adopts and breeding slots.

Frequently Asked Questions;

- Q. What's a closed species?
A. A closed species is a species which has protected lore and/or design elements. These come in many different shapes and sizes and varieties, including different rules and whatnot. Here at Perosomo, the world lore and community engagement are the protected parts; you can't engage with somos without signing up, and some sections are exclusive to owners. We don't really care if you happen to have an oc that looks like a somo (there are only so many ways to design a character after all), so long as you're not engaging in the community with them/claiming they are a somo at all <3

- Q. Why do I have to pay to make a somo?
A. We know there's been some discourse regarding closed species in recent years, and we understand why - the concept can be a little weird. Paying helps support the artist/owner and can continue to help motivate them to continue making adopts, events and building the community further. It takes a lot of work to manage a community like this and we appreciate any compensation we can get from store purchases/paid adopts. I personally try to include as many opportunities as possible for people to obtain somos for free, but that's not always possible (and other species may behave differently) so it's important to be aware of that!
