~Southern Moon Wolf Pack~Alpha female Needed

Tera, with tears in her eyes, nods and picks up the pup. This must be hard for her. Tera thought. She hoped the thin wolf would join the pack, but it seemed she was depressed beond the point where a wolf could lead a normal life. Tera hoped the wolf would be happy some day. Then she saw a grey dove land in front of Bullet.

A small dove lit down in front of Bullet and whispered to her "Mist told me to ask if you wanted to join the pack. You would not be separated from your pup. Mist told me that is a sad thing for a wolf to do." The little dove flew away without waiting for an awnser.

Tera gulped and said in a voice barely audable "I am Tera." She sat down next to Boadicea. The poor pup looked terrified.

"They have experienced a great emotional shock." Mist said in a whisper as she walked out of the bushes. "Do not disturb them." Mist guided the wolf away from the crying wolves with the reminent of tears glistening in her eyes. "I am Mist." She whispered.

Bullet watched in silence as the dove landed near her. She shook her head and backed away. "No...no, I can't stay here..." The limp fae's throat closed up with emotion. She smiled at the little pup. "Goodbye, Boadicea." She whispered solemnly. She nuzzled her daughter again and turned away, feeling tears rolling down her cheeks. It was all she could manage. Oh, how she wished this was all over.

Bullet knew what was next. She'd return to the river where Yew had died and do the same as he had. Goodbye cruel mortal world, hello beautiful afterlife. She's be rejoined with her beloved Will and Yew...It would be wonderful. She shut her eyes for a moment, her head pounding. Could she really force herself to jump, leaving Boadicea an orphan? She had to.

Boadicea looked up at the pup. "Mamma..." She gasped. She was confused and hurt. Why was her mamma so upset? Why was she so close to these other wolves and not her mamma? She sobbed harder.

Tera looked sadly as Bullet walked away, leaving the pup in her care. She licked the sobbing pup to try to make it feel better. She didn't know the plan Bullet was making in her head. If Tera knew it, she would have ran after her, but she didn't know. She tried to stop to tears the best she could and licked the poor little pup some more. Poor little Boadicea. Tera thought.

Mist, however, could sense it. The way the wolf talked, how she was so thin. She knew the wolf was sad. She knew the wolf had lost her family. That could be the only explanation. But Mist did nothing. To stop the wolf would be cruel, to make them endure more agony. She let Bullet walk away with a twinge in her heart. They had to protect her pup.
