Demand wise your overpaying, the Astrology sign dogs are worth ALOT! I’ve seen auctions for them before and a full set can really get a ton of good pets. I’d suggest cancelling as it’s not fair to you.
But have a second opinion

The mixed dates on this one are throwing me off. Their rare is a year older than mine and the others are a year younger and more common so I can see it being unfair either way. I'd really appreciate outside opinions?

very unfair to you, the reindeer is worth a 2009 VR

the cheetah pps is worth 1 MA (6-9 '09 rares)
store pet is also worth 1 MA (6-9 '09 rares)

i don't think it's fair, all the pets on their side are free event pets, whereas the pets on your side altogether cost 20 event tokens (if i counted correctly)
