Darkkit watched as Bravekit - now Bravepaw - went up and got his apprentice name. He couldnt help but bounce back and forth on his paws in anticipation.

((I think I remember you guys discussing that Bluejay was going to save Starlingheart from Shadowblaze))
Bravepaw smiled at Bluejay,"Of course! Your one of the best cats here." He lifted his head up and lightly touched his nose to Bluejays. He was glad that Bluejay was his mentor and hewas going to try his hardest to be the best apprentice he could be.

Dappleheart let out a purr as her son became an apprentice. So far two of her kits had been named.
((Heres a suggestion to hopefully speed up the ceremony. In the warriors book the leader would sometimes call all the siblings up or two at a time. I noticed this was taking awhile to go through everyone. I just realized Rainkit won't have Mixkit to become an apprentice with))

OOC: You're right! Haha I forgot about that, and I was really dreading doing it one at a time! XD I'll post again later today. Don't have time.

Jaystar smiled and nodded at Bluejay, he knew he got that one right. "Moonkit and Lionkit please step forward." He called, now deciding to go by siblings.

Frozenstorm smiled at Moonkit. She was a bright looking kit. If only she could be a mentor to her(him?)! But she knew Jaystar probably had another warrior picked out to mentor her (him?).

Flamestorm purred in amusement as Darkkit stamped his paws in frustration. Patience was never one of her kit's strongest traits. It amused her. Darkkit looked up to her to complained but she brushed her tail over his mouth. "Hush, little one." she murmured. "Your time will come soon enough. There are many other kits here as well."

Islandkit lightly nudged Darkkit,"I bet Jaystar will call you next. Me and my sisters still haven't been called either." She smiled as her green eyes sparked with excitement.

Bravepaw stepped back so the next cats could have their moment. His whiskers kept quivering since he was so happy to finally be an apprentice and Bluejay was his mentor.

Lionkit gave a growl of excitement and quickly rushed up to stand in front of Jaystar, eyes huge with anticipation. The back stripe that ran down his back quivered with excitement.

Bravepaw smiled seeing his best friend. "Go Lionkit," he whispered quietly so only Lionkit and Bluejay would hear. He was happy that him and Lionkit would be apprentices together and learn things at the same time.

Starlingheart - Warrior

Starlingheart nodded then stood up and walked to the entrance of the den and looked out to watch the rest of the ceremony. She sat down and curled her fluffy tail around her body, purring softly feeling proud of the kits. She looked over at Secretdream, "Isn't it weird for you to have an apprentice so close in moons to you?" She tilted her head slightly when she asked.

Shadowwhisper - Deputy

The black tom raised his head as Lionkit was called, he reminded Shadowwhisper so much of the kits father. He glanced at Tigershadow then back up at the ceremony, waiting for Jaystar to continue. He wrapped his tail around Tigershadows slimmer body and licked her ear once before paying attention to the ceremony agian.

Frozenstorm blinked quietly. What was it like to be a mother? A mentor? She sighed. I'll probably never know either.
