Custom Guidelines

The Guideline here is the basics of Custom types, ordering a Snood custom are based on the types detailed below.
Reminder: Artists are allowed to add on additional rules or limitations to their comfort.

Basics in ordering a Snood

• Abide CS content guideline
• Orders based of OCs/pre-existing characters that belong to you is OK
• Fan OCs are not allowed unless the design is without the fandom signature(e.g Naruto Sharingan/Transformer Logo)
• Orders based off existing people or figures are not allowed
• Cannot be resold higher than purchased
• Cannot use lineart made specifically from customs
• Cannot change the pose direction (face right)

Clear egg Custom

• Can use the default Snood lineart
• Can use existing litter lineart (require artist permission)
• Can request minor lineart edits (subject to artist)
• All available linearts HERE!

Strange egg Custom

• Can build off an existing/default lineart
• No limitation other than the Basic rules listed above

Breeding Guidelines

Reminder: Artists are allowed to add on additional rules or limitations to their comfort.

Basics in ordering a Breeding

• Require 1 egg (from either player) or as per artist’s payment terms
• Cannot be flat sold for higher than total artist payment (cost/number of offsprings)
• Order of distributing the rest of the litter is up to you & the player
• If the payment is in eggs: Whoever pays the egg will have first choice of the litter
• If the payment is in other methods that does not require one player to bear all the cost, the first choice must be agreed between you & the player
• Your Snood must be on the new version of the base, if it is on the old one you will need to wait for it's revision

Clay eggs Breeding

• Produces a minimum of 2 outcomes
• Uses either parent lineart, no edits
• Uses parents colour palette
• Uses parents patterns
• Does not create new pattern
• Does not create new colours

Crystal eggs Breeding

• Produces a minimum of 2 outcomes
• Uses either parent lineart - lineart edit enabled
• Uses parents colour palette - may make new colours
• Uses parents patterns - may make new patterns
• Capable of mixing parent patterns together

Other Customs

These are customs that do not fall under whole Snood Designing
Reminder: Artists are allowed to add on additional rules or limitations to their comfort.

Fabric Roll (Accessory Custom)

• Order a completely unique accessory design
• You will receive 10 copies for distribution
• Cannot be flat sold for higher than total artist payment (cost/10 copies)
• You can re-order the same custom

Edits

This is not a custom.
Edits are minor adjustments on snoods/accessories, other players can make the same order with the same result.
Reminder: Artists are allowed to add on additional rules or limitations to their comfort.

Tailor's Shear (Accessory Combination)

• Combines 2 or more accessories together instead of just overlaying the image

Dye Drop (Accessory recolour)

• Recolours an accessory you previously coloured
• Cannot recolour into another existing accessory

Thread Spool (Accessory edit)

• Allows minor lineart edits to the accessory you own
• Cannot edit into another existing accessory

Black Hole (Snood Eye edit)

• Edits your snood's existing eye(s)
• Does not add/remove eye linearts

How do I know if my Snood version is available for breeding?

Snoods who have been updated with the latest lineart version can be found in the masterlist. If your snood is in the current lineart version, they are available for breeding!

General Info

⚫ My slots are NOT fcfs and likely never will be.
⚫ All basic Snood rules apply. Please familiarize yourself with them before ordering!
⚫ You can submit as many ideas as you’d like during an opening, but that is not a guarantee you’ll get multiple slots.
⚫ Please do not rush me. A design can take 2-4 weeks depending on how my carpaltunnel is acting.
⚫ I will not make a Snood based on a character unless you can prove that you are the owner or have proper permission.
⚫ All USD slots must be paid via Paypal and discussed over Discord.
⚫ I will not change a custom after completion unless there is a very glaring error on my part.
ㅤ Make sure to opt in for WIPs if you are worried about this!
⚫ Crediting my ToyHouse (Wyvern-Queen-Kym) is preferred, but you can credit my CS too if need be.
⚫ To clarify: You do not need an egg/fabric roll to order! That is just one of the methods of payment accepted.

⚫ I will not design clowns, as I have a crippling phobia of them.
ㅤ Jesters are fine! It's mostly the makeup and clown noses that set me off.
⚫ I generally avoid pink in my designs unless its an accent color. You may wish to look for another artist if that's what you want!
⚫ Conversely, I love bright pops of color on otherwise dark palettes. ❤
