Prompt: Life as a pirate is a hard, but fun life to live, in Daveys opinion He had worked hard until he could become Captain Davey James, with his own moderate ship and a trustworthy crew. You get to sail the seas with a crew, go anywhere the wind and water may take you, find and take treasure, and best (or worst depending on who you ask) of all, you get to fight off anyone who comes your way with treasure or looking to take you and your crew down for your criminal actions. It always gave Davey a rush when they got to fight, as he loved the way his heart thundered in his chest as he fought, and usually won. He didnt always come out unscathed though, as he lost an eye to shrapnel, and his leg to a canon-ball. Even so, Davey still loved the life of a pirate, and all its ups and downs, until one day, he and his crew were sailing through a misty area full of large jagged rocks, trying to hide from a larger fleet they had stolen quite a haul from that had chased them this far. Davey figured they were going to get away just fine, when he heard a soft singing start, turning to figure out where the enchanting melody was coming from. He peered over the side of the ship, as did the res of his crew, as the singing grew louder. Davey new he had to get closer, had to hear more of this beautiful noise, and soon enough, let himself fall into the water. It took no more than that for something to dart towards the helpless Davey and his crew, until the pirates were no more, eaten by the sirens who had lured them down to them.
