At first I was like "yay mushrooms" but then I got a closer look. It looks like it's infected with the bubonic plague or something.

Now I'm wondering if the ponies are based on illnesses and diseases and other bad stuff that can happen to us living organisms. I really want to know the ideas behind this litter, because this outcome severely grosses me out right now >.<

oh nooooooo the way i ran to my PC to clarify what they're based off, it was very vague, basically just using the colours and vague patterns of some unique fruits

I don't think it's AC either, there's only been one purple pig and she was only in the first game so it would be a *real* deep cut to pick her. Something else altogether, then?

i kinda assumed it wouldn't be sanrio or ac because those are copyrighted but i do wonder if these dogs are based off anything else now or if it's just cute pastels

i always thought it was like, vibes of things like sanrio and ac, but not crossing over into being directly based on them, for copyright. but i'm so curious about what the purple dog is based on..............

This was my thought too- I think even directly basing the dogs off Sanrio in a vague way would be pushing things a bit too far if the site wants to avoid copyright problems.

I think they're most likely inspired by the cute pastel animal aesthetic sanrio has but in a unique and distinct way. Tbh I'm absolutely in love with the litter, the froggy and kitty are my favs!

Between these, the yugi rats and especially bwolves, and the gorgeous VHS dogs this month is shaping up to be a fav in recent memory for me ;-; my favs folder is gonna get so bulked up
