Glaggleland stared at the sign, tilting its head curious? Huh? What did that mean! Where did The Pit go?? All there seemed to be now was a cave of sorts… nothing like The Pit that it went down and found all sorts of fun things in! And its friend!! It still had to find whatever its friend was looking for!
As the joyous werm began to completely ignore the Do Not Enter sign and enter the empty cave, ??? grabbed Glaggleland by the tail in an attempt to make it stop. “Hmm?” The werm looked back at its friend, stopping briefly. “What’s wrong? We gotta still look for whatever it is you’re looking for, silly!” It giggled, but its friend shook their head. “…….. G o n e…” they rasped out, the first words they’ve spoken ever since the two met.
“Gone? Is what you’re looking for no longer here?” The other didn’t respond, simply continuing to pull on Glaggleland’s tail to try and make it not enter the empty cave. “Mm!! I still think we should try finding it regardless!” Yoinking its tail back, ??? flopped down unexpectedly. “After all, there could be something suuuper duper fun in the cave!! Heehe! Or maybe The Pit is deep in the cave and hiding? Who knows! Now c’mon!!” Helping its friend up, the joyous werm began to walk in tow with its friend. “As long as we’re together, whatever we find in that cave will be and joyous and full of wonder! Heehee!”
