Hello all! Hope everyone is having a great Lolo! I just passed 250 unique visits (not counting re-visits) and i just wanted to say you guys have such awesome costumes and stories this year!! I have personally only seen a handful of people who had the same costume idea as someone else, which is just phenomenal! There are so so many unique designs and dress-ups, and i think it is just so cool!

Does anyone have a favorite costume they have seen? I think my favorites have been a dragon with an axolotl companion, and a giraffe dressed as Rudolf pulling a sleigh, and i even saw someone do baby squids made by the ever knowing Cthulhu!

It has been so so fun to see all the integrations with costumes and stories, and even some people using CS lore in their lolo adventures! This year has been an absolute blast!

Plus, the stories have been so so cool! The Cthulhu baby squids came with a story about how Cthulhu (who runs CS) needs candy to keep the servers running, someone did a super awesome story about a archeologist, and i even saw one about using a peach as a costume because they couldn't find a small enough costume! Everyone has been so so creative!! Ive also being doing my story spectacular, and so many people have written pretty clever responses! I got a response talking about a trick or treater who dodged a trap from a trick, and another who tried out the cannon from a different story! It's all been so fun to read how everyone else interprets the stories, and i love seeing people find creative ways to respond! It has completely warmed my heart!!

Oh and before i forget, If anyone has gotten a response from me, you know i mention in every gift that all stories will be posted in the Lolo discord after the event. Today, i got a response telling me some users like themselves may not use discord and i completely agree. I have not been able to find a place to post them all on CS where it would not be considered spam, So if you can not use discord and you want to see all of the other stories after the event; Please DM me and let me know once Lolo ends, or let me know in your last visit DM or in your final acceptance message! I want everyone to be able to see all the outcomes, whether or not they use social media/discord, and this is the best way i can think of to give that option to everyone!

time to play catch-up! sorry to everyone who's been waiting on me, i've been super distracted between my uncle's worsening sickness and school. i'll be trying to keep my lights on for a bit, and i'll respond to pms that have been waiting on me! a special thank you to tumblr for helping light up this lolo for me with their lovely stories, and everyone else who's been super helpful with this otherwise painful month for me. here's to being active the last eleven days! .... hopefully.

Anyone else finding it easier to send treats compared to asking for some? It feels like such a chore scrolling through everyone, and if I haven't visited them already, their lights are off. I surprisingly get more enjoyment sending treats rather than receiving them, haha.

I think I'm just lazy.

It takes me a long time to tailor each gift to everyone who visits me, I mean agggeees! Lol

But I also agree, I spend sooo long trying to seek anyone with their lites on.

Next year, I think I will make some changes to my way of playing this game.

I never give tricks, only treats.
I love this game so very much, but i have noticed some repeating things over the last few years!

My lights have been off a lot because I’ve gotten super overwhelmed with having to track who I visit and who visits me. I liked tracking what I gave people so I can use that for when they revisit. I’ve also been slow accepting treats because I know if I do I have to pull out my google sheets, search their name, change the data, and try to leave a thoughtful response. My ADHD has unfortunately made this difficult for me lately 😔 I was hoping to catch up this weekend but I got sick and the brain fog was r e a l. Maybe after work tomorrow I’ll be able to pop in and catch up - we’ll see! I feel so bad leaving both treaters and gifters on read though 🥺

I've recently reached over 150 treats given. I'd like to give more but I guess people aren't as active in LOLO today. I was even overwhelmed when I would have 5+ but now I miss it, haha.

Someone else mentioned that to me in a PM aswell, and i plan to try to do that if i can fit it all into just a few posts so it won't be spam! I will be linking it in this chat at the end of October after all lolo responses have gone out if it is what happens tho!!



Also just a side note that my visit allotment has been changed! No more 48 hour wait! So that everyone can get all 15 visits guaranteed by the end of October you can send the rest of your visits at whatever rate you want! If you have already visited 8 times for example, you can send in 7 more trick or treat requests! You can send them all at once, or stagger them over the next few days! Just don't forget to get them all in before the 31st! Due to this however, responses will be slow and may take up to a week after the end of Lolo to get 100% caught up! I promise i will not forget anyone! If for any reason you have missed a reply from me, and it has been more than 7 days, feel free to DM me about it! I hope this makes it so everyone gets to have a wonderful end of Lolo!
