so my username is their group name in hangul

i don't even listen to kpop anymore but i don't have the heart to change my username

I have to make this disclaimer:
Mine is related to the horror genre, so I can't specifically say the names of either the characters or the movies they're from because... well, they're meant to be scary.



I have a tendency to have male usernames while I, myself, am not male.
Long story short: I hang around dudes so much that I talk like one. In the days before saying pronouns was a thing, I did leave some people flabbergasted when they found out I was a female. At one point I actually had to put "isagirl" in my user 'cause I sound like a dude that much.


I had to change my user for reasonings related to enemies, but that is the extent of what I will say about that. Because of this, I had to make up a whole new name in like 8 minutes. Across my entire internet life, this is the third user I've had that was long lasting. My first is "retired" for over 10 years because it traces to IRL me. And my second is retired for enemy-based issues.


My current one is a mashup of references to my two favorite scary movies.
These movies have literally nothing in common, yet I had to mash them up enough to sound cohesive and yet mimic the first half's character name. I did so well that, several years later, only two users have ever figured out it's an entirely horror based username 🤣

deftonesly (obviously for my love of deftones) used to be my instagram username, but when i changed to one that included my actual name, i decided i wanted to make it my username on another social media and i thought CS was perfect. i used to be "deathlessly" on here, and before that "love my way" and wayyyyy long ago i was "chat noir" lol.
