"Raised Voices and harsh words.
Tongues that cut deep, Tongues that hurt.
Apologies and Excuses, Attempts to recover.
And The watcher decided these were not the actions
Of people who were lovers."

Being the only medicine cat meant she would be doing this alone.
Or so she thought. Everyone loved Cauliflower, so when it came around the time for her kittens to be delivered the whole clan was there for her. Well, everyone but Tansy.
You see the night before they had gotten into a huge fight, nothing unusual for the two lovers, but this time the next morning Tansy was nowhere to be found.
Cries could be heard from inside the healers hut, as the Elder fig comforted Cauli in her moment in need.
"I just do not understand why she's not here."- - -
The night before was harsh, the whole clan bearing witness to the two of them screaming at each other.
Tansy had come back home with a
twisted paw unable to walk, unable to really do anything.
Sure she was capable, making a bigger deal out of her paw than she should have been. She had no idea the strain she was putting on Cauli, who was already in enough pain as she was bearing their children.
"You only care about yourself! What about me, what about them!? I told you to be more careful Tansy and you never listen to me!""You are selfish!"
"You are lazy!"
"You don't think about anyone but yourself!"- - -
"She would never leave me like this, I know we fought but she loves me. Why isn't she here?"Continuous sobs, frustrated cries.
And then a long lull of silence.
one....two....three.
Three little beans of fluff were now brought into this world, curled up immediately in their mothers tear stained fur.
The clan fell into a silence, all awaiting the moment when Fig finally emerged from the healers hut and smiled.
Everyone was immediately excited to see the kittens but Fig advised everyone to let Cauli have a moment alone with them for a bit.
She was still so torn up from tansy not being there, but looking down at her children....it brought her a sense of calm.
The calm that she needed to get through those next 20 minutes.
A flurry of panic rushed through the calmness of the camp, a giant basket clamped between teeth. A worried expression came face to face with Fig who gave them a disappointed look before allowing them to access the healers hut.
"Cauli! omg, Cauli...I am so sorry! I...omg..."A panicked Tansy limped over and placed the basked by her lovers head before rushing to her side.
"I missed it...oh Cauli...you will never know how sorry I am...I thought I could make it back...I just...I wanted to get you something. I am so sorry about last night.." She apologized calmly, her voice laced with sadness.
Cauli had her head laying curled into herself as she shielded her kittens.
She wanted to just forgive Tansy and be happy in this grand moment but she couldn't bring herself to...she was so tired. Both emotionally and physically.
"Is it okay If I come over?" Tansy asked, kind of lingering near her lover and their kittens, wanting nothing more than to be near them all but knowing better than to do so without asking.
Cauli just nodded her head, sniffling as she finally looked up towards Tansy, her eyes red and puffy.
Tansy wasted no time and curled up with her, the kittens between them.
"I'll make it up to you...I promise...How are you feeling? Can I get you anything?" Cauli just shook her head no and buried her face in Tansies fur.
It was then that a familiar scent caught Cauli's sense and she choked out a small laugh against Tansies fur.
"Did you...did you get me a radish?" "I know how much you like them...." Tansy sighed, smiling a bit as she finally relaxed a little.
The basked that Tansy had brought in not only had Radishes but also several bright Pink flowers littered with softer pink hues. Long stalks of green herbs were woven between them into a bouquet of sorts and on either side two large, wild grown Radishes.
"I'm glad you are here now..."
"Me too."
