This story is TRUE, even if it doesn't sound like it. I just changed the names of the people and some minor things I didn't remember from the story. XD
The Story
Once there was a women named Melissa. She had two daughters. One was 21, and named Kristen, and the other was 15 and named Kate. When Melissa's husband died, they couldn't afford their house anymore. So they had to move. After a few days of searching, Melissa's friend called her and told her there was a nice, big house near her that was being sold for a very low price. So Melissa drove there and it was love at first sight. They bought the house the following day.
At first, life there was normal. But once everyone had settled in, strange things began to happen. First, the family's two dogs, Skipper and Zeus began behaving strangely. They barked madly when nothing was there, and were constantly hiding and chasing nothing. But Melissa and her daughters discarded these happenings.
One night, Kate was in her room, reading, when she suddenly felt a strange tug. Something was urging her. It was pulling her towards her mirror. Finally, Kate got up and walked over to the mirror. She saw only her reflection in the glass. But then she felt something burning got cut down her back. Like someone had dragged their sharp nails across her skin. Kate ran to her mother and began sobbing. She was really freaked out. When her mother looked at her back, she saw five long scratches running down her daughter's back. Worried, Melissa bandaged Kate's scratches, as they were beginning to bleed. She hoped that it wouldn't happen again.
But it did. Kate was continuously being hurt without any cause. Melissa decided to do some research on the house, suspecting something bigger then she could handle could be going on there. She found out that the woman who sold her the house had a 16 year-old daughter. She had experienced similar events, and had moved out as soon as possible. After that. she continued to read about the house. Apparently, a 17 year-old boy who had lived there when the house was first built was killed by his love, a 15 year-old girl, in the house. After the death of the boy, the girl began to experience strange things happening to her. Two months later, she was dead.
Terrified that Kate could somehow be connected to this, Melissa contacted a Paranormal Association in the area, and moved her family into her friend's apartment temporarily. But it was too small there. They had to leave their dogs at the house. After a while, the apartment became too crowed for everyone, and they were forced back into the house. When they returned to the house, everything was wrecked. It was as though someone had some in with a tornado and destroyed every object there. Melissa contacted the Paranormal Association again, this time, with an emergency. They came over quickly and immediately told her that they sensed something in the house. Something evil.
They walked through the house, praying and trying to get the spirit to pass over. But just as they entered Kate's room, she changed. Her eyes became pitched black. Kate began to scream in a voice that wasn't her own: "This is my house! Mine! Get out!" she then attempted to strangle her own mother.
The Paranormal Association immediately took her and carried her outside. As soon as they were off the property, Kate returned to normal. She asked them, "Why are we outside?" The Paranormal Team decided that she had been possessed.
Seeing that there was no way to get the spirit to leave the house, the team insisted that they moved. They said that the spirit was targeting Kate because she was the same age that his murderer was. So the family left the house and moved in with Melissa's mom until a new house was found for them.
The Paranormal Team was amazed by the case. They had once thought spirits couldn't hurt you. But now they knew differently. It was just a blessing they were able to get Kate out in time.
