SO!!
Just now a moth landed on my leg, about three - four inches away from my face. It moved of its antennas at me and it looked like it was waving. I waved back because why not I reached my finger forward and the antenna touched my finger, and stayed like that before flying away.
So, that got me curious!!
Whats your guys's favorite moth species? I love moths, one of my favorites are the long-tailed skippers, they have such a cool gradient ^_^
I hope this is allowed on this topic lol

I love skippers! They have a really unique shape. I like how their tails sort of look like a bird's.
If I had to pick a personal favourite, mine would be the Isabella tiger moth. It's fun that they're common here so I get to see them a lot and I'm always excited to see the caterpillars in the fall! Very cute.

It's a really cool thing to do!! I've raised Luna moths, cecropias, polyphemus, and Attacus lorquinii which I couldn't release as it isn't native. It's such a cool and rewarding experience watching them grow so quickly and hatch. This is one of the lorquiniis I hatched out!! This one was a female!
