{ I only have a late grower of this one but I'm so obsessed with them 😭😭 the pup gave huge MissionFlight vibes from the start for me so I'm definitely holding to that! absolutely love the markings and the crystals and the helmet is just so cool ♡

GUESSES FOR THE UNCLAIMED PUPS/DOGS

Working Our Way Up From Z To A, we start with xem;

-Would feel at home way before or way after 90's; Not much of a hint to go with but keeping it in mind, this rules out Skater and Tamagatchi Pup for me, since those are both 90s feeling.

-Line edits in both stages; This eliminates at least five outcomes outright from the remaining 12 unclaimed

-Much heavier edits in adult stage—more than past years

-Would be friends with Fyre, Solloby's dog

I'm guessing;


For xem's outcome; the ears are extremely similar to their 2021 outcome, and both past staff dogs have horns and super pointy ears, so by style alone I'm thinking this is xem's


Wobbuffet

-Has props
-Is wearing human clothes
-Would feel in place in the 90's

While not a lot of hints, this rules out a few outcomes. I actually suspect....



This pup for Wobbuffet! Wearing human clothes, very 90s fashion of those clothes and while I don't currently see any props, I strongly suspect there will be a surfboard or skateboard when this pup grows up


This pup for....VAMPIRIC

Would be "1000%" in place in the 90's; tamagatchi, hair and very reminiscent of their previous releases


Saikiyo; Face and Line edits, which if the pup isn't hidden, Saikiyo tends to do these


Schulyer; feels very beachy and Schulyer likes to do the one crimped ear, one pointy a lot in their previous outcomes

No props; rules out the bee outcome; the design itself feels very chaotic and weaving back and forth, kind of gives off this sort of hyper energy, which is what I get from their hints.


Process of elimination means this might be Aarons; Green eyes and/or nose? this dog has that one and as a flower friend could have a cousin this year

The last two are harder from the lack of hints XD but I think based on style and Burrito Bunny's hint that this

Is AquilaFuga's but I could be completely wrong about any of these.

I still think a good chunk of these are right but I'm not completely sure about Aaron's, Aquila's or Burrito Bunny's...Fairly sure the pup who grew tonight is MissionFlight's, though.

You guys got it! This is my first ever staff pet!

Meet Zen!
Now that he is fully recharged he is ready to take on any challenge that comes his way.

There isn't a lot of background or story with his design other than that it is a little bit of a love letter to outrun/synthwave and also that really cool futuristic tech-y style (like from Tron) that I love.
From the moment I saw the palette I knew I wanted to do a helmet of some kind because I thought the reflections could look neat and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out! I've always really liked sharp geometrical designs and of course all things that are glowy and I'm glad I was able to fit all my ideas into one pet.

I had so much fun designing my first staff pet and working with this color palette.
I hope everyone enjoys him as much as I do!
