So I used to play avh for hours and hours a day and I loved that game soooo much and had got so far and had so many horses and friends and then stuff went down in my life and I didn’t play for years.... so I can back to see my loving child hood memories and start back up and now it’s just idk... not the game I loved... can someone please tell me what happened!?!
throw me to the wolves and ill return leading the pack <3

It was bought out. Since then, there have been issues with the servers and bot attacks. The last social media update was posted in 2019. **All of this information I discovered on the game's FB page.**

Gatekeeper sold it some time ago. AVH (which I've played since 2007 myself) was doomed after the end of Flash. Much of the game was hanging on by a thread as the devs knew it would soon be impossible to maintain due to lack of browser support for a large portion of the game.
Honestly, I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. It had been plagued by being mindless for quite some time. Click, wait five seconds, click again. Botting was extremely common due to the fact that it was so time consuming to do literally anything. And to make any progress, you honestly could not avoid paying for it at some point.
It's gone. Many games of its era already fell, like Horseland. It's sad to see another giant go but the end was inevitable.
