I was looking here and thought "why is there not a thread for talking about the struggles of collections?" So this thread was born!

In this thread you can come to complain, discuss or share your accomplishments in your collection! Whether it's a full collection or species or whatever!!

Oo shiny new thread!

So im trying for a full new years dog (and cat haha) collection right? Currently I only have one left, the 2017 GUPPS.

Unfortunately the new rarity update bumped him up to a rare T-T but I know I'll get him eventually! I'm just glad I got everyone else.. with so many of them going very rare it would've been... a pain

Sidenote ive also been collecting new years and cs birthday items. I've been finding it fun to dress up the new years dogs!

How have your collections been impacted by the rarity change?

I'm curious to know what others think though, do you consider URs as part of a complete collection? or do you view them similar to store pets in a sense of they are or should be counted separately from the rest of regular adopt pets? I personally think they should be counted separately like store pets in the archive due to such small numbers being released yearly. Especially compared to the much larger numbers of other monthly of event pets that are released. I'd love to know how others view them though!

I don't personally want to try to get every pet on the site, but I do have a few specific species/stages I'm trying to collect all of/keep up with, and I personally consider store pets and URs to count toward my full collections of those species. I'm doing fairly well so far, though I ended up disbanding my western dragon collection because their demand is ridiculous, and that UR was the final nail in the coffin for me. But, I have a full collection of squids, EPPS lion cubs and kittens, betta fish, spiders, deer, eastern dragons, snakes, otters, and hamsters, and a nearly full collection of macaws. The only one stopping me from a full set of macaws is, of course, the UR flamingo.
