Rank: Alpha, Pack: Redmoon, Age: 5, Tags: Nova, Blazey, Niko Feeling: Pleased.Oddly for a moment not having having the burden of the packs care rest on Nova gave him some peace, or as much peace as a wolf like him could have, especially after how she gave her first order it was firm and to the point he knew he’d made the proper choice when giving the she-wolf the power of his word it almost made him forget he needed to stay light on his feet for the moment but not dance so obviously that they would know he’s up to something.
With that the precious pup niko was now another member to the pack. Eros was probably the most excited about this because now he had another buddy to cause mischief with. Eros was sitting up between Liberty’s front paws under his neck he seemed to burst brightly with joy at the sight of Niko and his tail was making a rhythmic thumping noise on the ground. With much excitement, and not much thought, Eros called out to Niko while the adults were talking about other things he couldn’t be bothered to care about, ”HI NIKO! I’m Eros! Do you want to play hide and seek? Oh oh oh or we could play king of the hill! Or or tag!” Liberty consoled him with a lick and whispered to him that Eros could do no running for a bit and that Niko maybe needed some time to settle in, eat, and rest. Eros’s head dropped with disappointment because he knew couldn’t run and understood that it would have to be a later time. Parents are sooooooo boring. He thought. He still excitedly looked expectantly at Niko for a response not sure if he’d overwhelmed the other child with his energetic demeanor.
After consulting his boy he waited patiently for the conversation between Nova and Blaze to come to an end so that he could make a statement to Blaze about the reasoning behind wanting to speak with the brute after the hunt. Blaze was being set to task looking over Niko which was an interesting choice he thought because he’d seen Blaze around Eros before and it didn’t seem like the brute had much interest in children but perhaps Nova could see something about Blaze that wasn’t made obvious to Liberty’s assessment of Blaze’s personality. He trusted Nova’s judgment because he was about to anoint a new leader with his last order for the time being. When their conversation came to an end he was beaten to it by Blaze. He thought the brute was being to considerate of time that wasn’t his to assume was full In fact the only wolf who had a full schedule was Nova as she was in charge for the time being. A chuckle escaped his throat and Liberty smirked a bit, “Well you are here now & So is Nova which actually makes this the perfect time. —“, he said this because out of respect Nova’s word would have some play in this as well IF she chooses, “It has come to importance recently that the position of Lead fighter needs to be filled. Especially since the position has been vacant since I became Alpha. One thing I’ve needed is some one with a strong sense of Loyalty—You’ve given me that, I’ve needed another leader with a strong sense of community and the ability to act selflessly to make change. You’ve shown me you can and are willing to learn and grow as we all continue to do. Blaze you are an asset to this pack an individual I believe others will respect and follow. I implore you to accept my offer—“ he looked intensely at the brute in the door way not in an intimidating way just a serious one. ”And take the Lead Fighter position. Nova will be in charge of your transition but it will not be official until a 1v1 showing of combat skills and your comprehension of battle strategy.” he stopped this for now being his last order. ”I will be your opponent.”Alexandria

Pack: Starlight Rank: Fighter Age: 2 Feeling: Content Tags: SoraHutten was pleasantly surprised to hear someone praise the moon goddess at least some one was due to the days recent events this pack was in need of a prayer or two but Hutten didn’t believe her words would matter and maybe a more serious follower should take up the time to actually say something maybe they would get a reaction this time. Hutten took the time to finish eating while she listened to Sora go on about hoping the situation stayed settled. It didn’t really matter to Hutten whether or not it did as long as the situation didn’t involve her she was fine with how it carried on.
After Hutten finished she licked her blood covered lips looked back up at Sora, then looked suspiciously around and then whispered, “I heard Dante shouting at Cypher, something about not playing games with your life? I don’t have much context but what do you think he meant? Do you think Cypher was injured during the hunt?” She figured that would get under Dante’s skin a bit because of what happened before Hutten was even born it was a terrible situation she’d only heard in the whispers of older wolves who as well have passed on just like Kikui. Dante believed to have lost his better half to a buck.
She thought him saying that was a bit too off from his typical behavior she knew since being under his command he was prone to insults and belittling wolves after a failure so hearing him say that to his fellow leader must meant that he cares? Queer. It would be a very odd feeling to have Dante speak to her in a nice formal manner rather than his typical way of bossing her about.
It was very clear that Hutten really only cared about the subject of what the leaders were fighting about in the Den because she felt no sympathy over the loss of kikui plenty of that was already in the air for him as far as she was concerned. The old wolf was dead now and the only thing that mattered now was giving him the proper send off one as loyal as he deserved and then leaving it be. Hutten believed dwelling on the death of the wolf kept their spirit around after death keeping them from properly resting. An odd value instilled in her by her father. But it was her own now and it helped her move on from it quickly so she could continue surviving in this increasingly dangerous world.
Her grey/brown eyes broke respectable eye contact that one should always maintain during a talk just in time to notice Dante and Cypher leaving the den together and though they shared much of the very same complexion you could not deny Dante because of how proudly he stood. Cypher just seemed exhausted, and possibly injured like Hutten had originally thought because the brute seemed to favor one of his paws. Walking so soon after being injured and then getting into a bout with a leader was respectable and it made Hutten wonder why he hadn’t become a fighter he could clearly stand his own with theirs. After Hutten saw what she needed in that brief moment her attention was gracefully given back to Sora.
