Rarity system updated to add 4 new categories!

I am so obsessed with this update and i love all the bar options I’m having trouble deciding if I want to use the one I picked first or another

i swapped my display choice like 5 times before settling on the bars with multiple stars! lol

I ALSO can't decide what to use!! Im currently using the notches while adjusting to the changes but I think once I'm used to it I'm gonna change it to the stars!!

Even though I voted against, the only thing I have to say against it is..:
Why didn’t we keep the same color code we already had and had the new rarities have the new colors? It is a big change yes, but this makes it a bit confusing. I’m used to glancing at my colors not the labels. Ex- “okay Red is very rare I can see what to trade vr for”
But now red is Rare and very rare is pink

I feel pink could of been a new rarity labels color, and maybe even instead of the rainbow aka ex custom label color being for our omg so rares. It could of stayed purple, kept the customs rainbow, and added a deep indigo blue for Extremely rares instead of taking the omg so rare purple?

Just my opinion, as I’m a bit confused due to being used to seeing purple as omg so rare
Red as very rare
And orange as rare
Etc.

I skimmed through and don't think this has been asked, but apologies if it was.

Would we be able to get the numbers on this? Like Common meaning 1 pet in x users, as so on.

This was last answered back in 2009 (as far as I could find), and I wouldn't be surprised if that information was outdated even before this update.

I think it would help give an even better understanding of what the rarities mean... and I'm a lil nerd who likes the numbers.

I would love to see the numbers on this as well. Trying to make sense with the increase in omgsr pets.

I was already really confused now I'm more confused yeah there's a reason I only do event swaps lol during events because I get way too confused doing anything else

I think I am really liking this new asthetic, but ooooh boy, am I having to reorganize all my trade groups now. x.x Got most of them done now but so many to go.
Sad to see so many of my WL pets move to be OMGSR's, as makes em feel that much more unobtainable, but will see how things go in the future.

i disagree, this shows to me that our OLD system was extremely broken. we now have more accurate depictions of the rarities of these pets, many of which were seriously undervalued for years.

this, big time. not to mention the list was discontinued four years ago, and was never really a tangible point of rarity in the first place IMO. i always felt like it was just created for certain people to have a sense of superiority, not to make trading easier or more accessible for everyone.
