Not a fan of this choice, but atleast I got my first OMGSR out of it? Lmao.

Serious talk though, I know the decision was already made and a bunch of people agree with it. But I feel like this has already further ostracized casual players, cause now it's an even bigger mess of rarities and a lot of the pets that they'd begun to learn were rare due to demand (or actual rarity) are now completely switched up.
Dunno if I'll be trading much after this, cause I really don't want to go through the process of having to relearn what all the more active players decide is the "norm for trading".

But that’s the beauty of it, though! With this big shakeup the norms for trading are still being figured out. This is a great opportunity to help CREATE those norms together with the rest of the community.

there's so many dramatic people in this thread LOL, obviously trading is going to be difficult at first, just like it was when the rares list was discontinued. thing wills calm down, you just have to have patience.
I like the new rarities, because with how many pets there are, it was pretty hard to understand why a pet from 2009 and a pet from 2023 had the same rarity. This helps balance it out a little bit more.

Honestly... I originally voted against this change, but after seeing it in action, I've warmed up to it more. It'll take some getting used to. Interesting to see how some of my previously uncommon pets have turned rare, and so on.
As another user mentioned, at least the entirety of the community can now discuss/decide on how the new system works.

hi! i am a huge fan of this update and i am glad it was implemented swiftly. however, i'd like to point out that i think the rarities still need to be distributed differently. while this update did bring a lot of clarity for rare and below pets, it ended up making it even more confusing when it comes to our old VRs and OMGSRs. i think we need the OMGSR threshold to be lowered. at where it is now, it feels as if there are so many OMGSRs and a wide gap between the actual rarities/values of them. this update was supposed to help us further understand where our current pets were rarity wise, which led to me (and i'm sure plenty of others) assuming most pets would go down to more specific rarity tiers, instead of going up to what is now an extremely broad category of OMGSR. we have way more OMGSRs than we did before, which on it's own isn't a bad thing, but now we have an even wider gap for pets in the OMGSR rarity. it has honestly made things a bit less clear than they were supposed to be becoming, which is a bit disappointing. i think we need to accept that for the rarities to fully make sense, some original OMGSRs are going to have to go down in value. as it is now, i would say a lot of pets are even more confusing rarity wise now. (though i do quite love the rainbow bars! they are so pretty!)
