Rant: when you see a really good RP, and it's obvious that the creator put a lot of work into it, but hardly anybody joins. Then there's the one-liner-thrown-together-in-five-minutes RP with a played out idea and EVERYONE is joining that one.

That IS sad. I usually join RP's based on 3 things

Quality of posts
Quality of Rules
Quality of starter forms

Good example of Rule one: Someone who has obviously thought about it.
Bad example: "Wlf RP I spent so much time on plz join" with a "PLZ JOIN" as the very first post.

Good Example of Rule two: Detailed list of all rules
Bad Example: Someone who just puts "no details, no cussing, no more than one character"

Good Example of rule 3: Someone who fills out their form the way they say it should be done.
Bad Example: Someone who says not to use Meet me, but then uses it in their form anyway.

When people try to make other people feel bad for them in rp's before trying to kill themselves and hurting themselves. Good it annoys the bloody hell out of me when people do sob stories..

I've seen this in many shapes and sizes. From a character who won't stop bleeding no matter how much they bandaged themselves up, yet refuse to seek medical treatment. :V

To a character who kept RPing themselves getting bullied by the SAME bullies no matter how often they were beat up, scared off, driven away, suspended, etc.

To characters who repeatedly try to just kill themselves for no good reason. :V

Anyway for my own rant, I hate it when I get kicked from a roleplay simply because my character isn't straight. This happens on a different site but I'm so tired of all the homophobics that I run into. o_e; It's not like my character is doing a full blown out love scene in front of everyone. It's hardly even goes past a kiss or a snuggle, but nooooo the owner starts freaking out and kicks me out as well as my friend who I RP with a lot.

That's really just... sad.
I mean, I can see how some people might see that as "bad", but kicking you out of the roleplay for something so minor is just plain rude.

I love gays (males) to be honest. Ive always wanted to roleplay a homosexual charrie but I've never gotten the chance. I'd gladly rp with you 1x1 if youd like. ^^

That isn't fair. A gay has just as many rights as other RPers charries do. No matter what they say.

I wanna join a warriors rp with less then 10 pages and people dont have their usual sues. o.e It isn't flooded with newbs. And noone is named Murderfang the cat that can kill 50 badgers with one swipe of his claw. e.e; And the clan isn't called SPARKLECLAW COME JOIN THE EGAG LEADER IS MATELESS. *twitch twitch die* I mean seriously no need to die because the darned leader is mateless. O.O And I will certainly not go through 53 pages of dead rps all useless and took literally 10 minutes to make. (my warriors rp took me 4 hours to make. X3) Still I have no clue where this rant is goin all I know it that it is something about warriors. My rants never make sense to me but, helps me blow off some steam. LAWL

Just... ugh.
I hate it when people decide that, instead of putting detail into a roleplay, they're just going to toss something together. Then, after they've taken a few misspelled words, a lot of chatspeak, and negative detail, then stick it onto the forums and start roleplaying with themselves until they realize that nobody is going to join, after which they bump forty times and let it die.
Y U DO THIS TO ME?
I only want to find a semi-literate shapeshifter roleplay, and instead I find a pile of dead things.
