I signed up for Exabyss when it opened a few years ago, but it seems like updates are very inconsistent. I see that there's been more updates in the past week or two though, which is cool! It has the potential to be a really cool game if it didn't feel like it got abandoned for months and months at a time, and more people probably would enjoy it!

I just joined it coming from a list of virtual pet sites on Neocities (TheEnforcer there). It seems cute, although it feels like more of an RPG than a petsite. Plus I've basically just been running it as an idle game via repeating the auto-battles on stages to grind my critters, which probably isn't the intended purpose? I'll at least play through the main campaign, but am unsure what to do outside of that.
