Here's one from me: Turtles are more closely related to crocodilians and birds than they are to lizards and snakes

We don't know much about big fin squid because of how deep under the ocean they live - but the scariest part, to me at least, is that every single one of them that we have caught have been a juvenile. Which means that the current estimate of 26 feet (most of which is long, skinny arms/tentacles) could be much, muuuuuch smaller than we think and they might be far bigger than that.
