Zetra landed on a mountain top, pacing back and forth. She was so frustrated. "How could he be such a jerk?" she roared, hoping that he would here. (Xeres) She saw Dereke and smiled.

Dereke

He smiled back, landing lightly (for him) beside her. "Hey... you ok?"He asked softly, craining his neck to look at her.

Zetra shook her head. "No. I love you...But...I love Xeres." she said nad looked up at him and sighed. She looked back down and looked into Dereke's eyes.

HE took Zetra aside and said,"I didn't mean to upset you........"

Zetra nodded. "It's okay." she said and looked at him and gave him a faint smile.

Dereke

The green dragon decided not to say anything to the two. He just walked off, over the mountian. He loved her, he truely did. He could deal with it if he lost her to Xeres, or he hoped he could. He knew it would kill her if he harmed Xeres, and would put him out of the picture entirely. As he sat on the other ridge alone, he thought about these things, wishing he didn't have to.

Zetra nuzzled him back and looked at Dereke. "Give me a day." she said to both of them and looked at the ground. "At midnight...I will tell you both." She walked over to Dereke. She nuzzled him and smiled.
