Duarte thinks about Silver- what will he think when he comes back to the surface with a child in his arms? Would he be upset? Happy? Duarte knew that Silver was always the kind of pirate to work well with children, but being the co-parent of a child of his own... he wasn't sure how he'd react. Whatever the result would be, he just hoped that Silver wouldn't hate him for bringing a goo back. Though, if Duarte had to make a guess, it's more likely that the only thing that Silver would get angry about is the fact that he did all this without him.

Boa glances around the goo still stuck to his fur and pads up to their guides with a soft humming as he extends a paw his toe quite and soft as he thanks them for the journey and Rocket's louder when he bounds over jumping in place as he takes his turn thanking the group turning to Boa and side tracking him by showing him all the cool rocks and crystals he's found and then getting further off topic trying to name the goo with Boa shooting down all of the joking names Rocket suggest as they move away from their guides.
