Bandit walks around the spot they discovered with Jakob, trying to make sense of directions. They see cool critters they'd never seen before and even get to observe one of the lava-bats from afar. While they track a shiny worm, they find an ambersquito under a bit of dirt! On their way home, they find a bandanna!

Bandit, feeling like a seasoned adventure, decides to brave this woods this time! However, they didn't expect the legends to actually be true - a ghastly howl scares them away! At least they have a new story to tell at the next picnic. (lose 2 xp) (fear roll: 3)

(before i even write this out, gotta say this was lucky roll after lucky roll. wow)
Jakob now knows exactly what to expect of the cave and goes in prepared! He avoids all of the bats and fire-critters, picks up an ambersquito on his way down the magma river and successfully climbs a wall of rocks. It seems like there is a shiny thing fluttering up top... as he climbs, he notices a blue glow. Upon reaching the top, an Ethereal Butterfly boops his nose! (gain 7 EXP) (fear roll 8, ambersquito roll 8, ethereal butterfly roll - TEN!)
