Hey y’all! I know the UMA has been really silent for a long while and I’ve been thinking about it often trying to find ways to get back into it. The reason is more complicated than lack of time or inspiration, Snoods in general has been a process me of trying out new things I don’t normally do.

I’m gonna be reworking some stuff in the UMA including lore to be more comfortable in it and I’m going to be looking for staff applications again soon. I am also now tentatively considering discord

As a sneak peek here’s what I’ve been working with lately. I’m leaning more towards the fur version but they sure don’t look like lizards so much now haha so I’m still considering making more changes on the anatomy and I’m open for opinions

Whatever direction you take Snoods in, I'll stand by. I love these lil critters, no matter their form! Glad to see you're trying to revamp, and not giving up completely on Snoods <3 (it might not matter, but I thought the current/original form was actually really adorable? you don't have to keep it, but I thought it was really unique ^^)

In my opinion I really think you should rework the UMA as you'd like it! This species is so fun.
As for the bases.. I personally think both are cute.
Was the previous base too large?
Maybe they can both be used as needed, why choose only one. Haha. 😆

Both the bases are adorable and honestly the look like babies of the previous snoods xD I like fluff more but variety might be better option

I hope to keep it unique while chibi-fying it somehow— maybe back to tiny feet

The base was quite large yea and I had an awkward time trying to fill in the space. I’m hoping to stick to one lineart for convenience and uniformity. Though the Fluffies batch used on the original base look nice even though i want to retire the lines, I might keep it out of breeding

Hiya! I think the last lines flowed very nicely but I agree it is a little tough to fill empty space. I'm sure whatever you decide to do will be awesome! ❤️

Working on matching the new lineart with the original pose + 1 random npc I hope to use for an event Oops I forgot to colour the npc teeth
I don't think I'll open adventure along with the new reopening but at a later time, I'm hoping to complete my plans by October for a halloween event

Oooh I am super excited to hear there may be a halloween event!! *It's my favorite holiday haha.
I really like how these guys are turning out too; especially the twins.
