I agree... your friend is silly. My Chemical Romance has changed their sound, but all bands change over time. If they didn't, no one would buy the albums any more. They would appeal to only ONE type of audience, not such a wide variety.

Lol. I'm not as rabid of a megafan as I was before. As I said I fell out of touch with band news and things and didn't listen to them for a while. Then when I heard Sing on the radio I was like... "oh my god... I know that voice... that's... My Chemical Romance!" I literally started crying. My love never changed... I still love them as much as I did then. But I'm not as intense, as I said before. Though if anyone bashes the band or it's members... kitty can scratch. Lmao
