They nodded and said "Okay," but snarled a moment later... "Oh, that's rich...the beta telling me not to come... I bet it's because I asked her to wait a little, because we were already on the way back. I wasn't just going to run off without a word to you," they said to Hyuuga. They growled once more, then. "No...she doesn't get to tell me not to do my job." They started heading back for the camp. Nova may be the healer and there may be another healer, but they were a good healer. They weren't going to let her act as if they were a problem here. They growled again as they walked. They then began to run to the den, and looked around for a small moment. They were looking to see if Alexandria was even there, since they'd heard her being called for.

Deep foresty green eyes with gold ringing the pupils looked around. The white foot black phase she wolf continued along. She sighed with relief as she saw the healer den coming into sight. She then twitched her ears back, as Eros spoke. She shook her head a couple times. She wondered if he'd meant to ask Nova, or her, but Nova wasn't there with them now. Since she was the one there, she said "I don't know...I think he'll be mad at Nova and I if he finds out, unless Nova can speak to him." She finally reached the healer den, then. She flicked her tail and headed in. She set the pup down on a nest there, one meant to allow the healer to work on any patient. She said "Now...we need to stay here, and wait for Maison."

She twitched her ears as she heard Nova howling. She was telling Maison not to come...what was she doing? Even Gauge knew Eros hadn't been life threateningly injured. Gauge would bet anything that Maison was with another pack member, and didn't want to be rude. Even she could understand that. She sighed and rolled her eyes a bit. She didn't see Alex, and when Maison appeared they looked annoyed...She was glad they'd showed up, as this was their job, even if another wolf told them not to.

The reddish looking male twitched darker reddish or brown ears. The darker or brown tipped tail flicked from time to time. His eyes looked between them once more. He nodded to River, saying "If you're sure..." then trailing off. He then let his eyes wander back to Milo. He fought down a blush as the other seemed to look him over, and his tail stopped moving. His ears went back shyly, then he shook his head a couple times. He said "I um...it's a pleasure to meet you too."

He then blinked as the other said River had been telling him about him. He tilted his head at this for a small moment. He then figured she'd told Milo about quite a few of the wolves. He wasn't special, it wasn't just him that River would have told Milo about. He shook his head a couple more times. He then nodded to the other male, and smiled a canine smile. "I...I'm glad she told you about me, us. It must have been very helpful," he said to the other, then asked "Were you two...heading somewhere?"


Starlight

The smaller and slender white marked black phase wolf nodded to Scythe. He sighed quietly, saying "Okay...I won't hold it against him." He then looked around a moment. He saw some of the others were heading for the prey, but not many of them...He sighed and shook his head at this fact. He then jumped a bit as he heard the voice of Mikage. He looked to the other hunter, and dipped his head a moment. He then said "I...It was just a misunderstanding, I'm fine now. Cypher is injured, as you know. He and Dante got in a verbal fight..." he said, shaking his head. He then said "I believe others are sad about Kikui. I think Scythe is going to get ready for the vigil."

The pretty but handsome smaller and slender golden pup nodded. Brown ears twitched as the brown tipped tail flicked. Brown and blue eyes looked between the three female pups. He nodded as Yomi said she'd be the next guard. "Okay," he said, and got ready, then waited. He said "I'm ready, and I think they're ready, but...I mean... they can answer for themselves." He shook his head a couple times. He then flicked his tail as he waited for the other two to say if they were ready.

Dante

Pack: Starlight, Rank: Temp Beta, Lead Fighter, Age: 4, Feeling: Indifferent Tags: Cypher

Dante let out a yelp that turned vicious snarl in reaction to Cypher’s first attack, the pressure of his bite was intense but not enough to break skin through the sharp edge of the lead Hunters teeth increased the pain that was felt, his retreat saved him from further damage other than ruffled slobber covered fur. Cypher was swift even while injured managing to initiate another attack that unfortunately for him had been miss placed making the effort pointless and the energy waisted. “Futile effort. It is a delusion to think your actions have no consequences.” he taunted with a snarl and a growl while advancing on the stumbling Wolf who caught himself at the last second only to be forced down again onto his back while Dante ravaged harshly at the thick fur on Cypher’s neck. Cypher’s reaction was to be expected the brute kicked and scratched wildly at Dante’s underbelly, the claws hit there mark more than once but would miss and simply land on Dantes hips 5 or 6 times out of 10 attempts. This actions only further fueled the boiling rage in the brutes stomach giving him the extra motivation to commit to the bit.

When Dante felt the fight in Cypher flee, probably due to already having been wounded, the brute allowed the exhausted male to collapse freely out of his grasp and sprawl out on the floor. A murderous thought trickled into Dante’s mind, if he wanted to right now while the brute was exhausted he could easily steal what’s left of Cyphers fate and end him, but just as he was about to act on base instinct he heard his beloved Alpha contest the situation with her words stepping between the two brutes after the separation once Cypher had collapsed. Dante did not feel like they were acting like pups if not for Cyphers reaction and then bringing up Weiss this probably wouldn’t have happened. Dante felt completely justified in his actions and no amount of judgement or anything could make him believe other wise because initially he only wanted to scorn Cypher for being so quick to throw away his life and lecture him over the error of his decisions which were things he believed were expected of his temporary position but he could be wrong.

Destiny’s attempt at managing the situation with fear of demotion didn’t matter to Dante in fact he could care less if he was demoted he was only acting as Tempt beta because Destiny, his only friend, had kindly asked him to do so not for any one else benefit besides hers. Regardless he knew his position well and submitted to her Will taking a couple paces back to assure he would no longer add to the situation. With a dip in his head his spit Cypher’s fur out of his mouth then spoke, “I only intend to speak with him over the process of events that landed him where he was…” he stated deeply denying his very much involved role in the progression of previous events. “I also wanted to understand why he needed to play hero on the hunt…” the brute added in his defense to the situation but it didn’t really matter in the over scheme of things.

He watched silently as Destiny walked away not listening to his words which didn’t bother Dante if she didn’t have anything else to say then it was over. His adrenaline had fallen off and all that remained was a slight hint of exhaustion the body has after fully exerting its self in situations like the one shared by the brutes. Dante was prepared to walk away and trash any thought of apology because he didn’t regret anything. But he was surprised when Cypher apologized for using Weiss in this conversation. It wasn’t the apology that made Dante respect him now it was Cyphers willingness to fight even a loosing battle. The brute shook his pelt then turned then faced Cypher, he wouldn’t say the wolf was forgiven because of his mention of Weiss Dante wouldn’t let that go, so he responded to Cyphers question with something his father use to tell him. “My father, Zeus, before he died always told me that lone wolves die first but the pack will survive. We are stronger together.” he stated then Added next “My concern for your life is a fear of history repeating itself. You are an asset, don't play games with your life.” his voices natural deepness carried a certain amount of formality again but it only hid his utter contempt for the situation.

Alexandria

The she-wolf was delicately lapping up water from a puddle inside the healers den that for no explanation that she could come up with was always full of ice cold water during the winter months which was an absolute godsend for her because it meant she wouldn’t have to tire herself out by running back and fourth to the river to retrieve a sip of water for an injured wolf. Her attention was drawn from her self care by a piercing howl that begged for Maison to make himself available for Eros who had gotten injured. Her ears perked and should stood at attention while listening until the howl cut off. Just moments later Maison called back saying that it would be just a moment, Alex’s brows burrowed into her forehead not in anger, Eros was the Alphas son even if the injury wasn’t to bad the situation still demanded top priority over idle conversation that could resume later once the pup has been addressed. Her loyalty to her duties would often leave conversations at an end before they were completed very often so it was something she was use to and probably why she didn’t have much company other than her Eldest brother Lycath who would occasionally drop by and bother her about what ever adventures he’d gotten into on the occasion. Alexandria wrapped up her thoughts when Nova responded telling Maison to continue his other apparently more important obligations and bid Alex to see to Eros immediately. Since her paws were not busy and she was already in the healers den prepared for the situation she stepped from the den just in time to see Gauge arrive with the pup.

”No need to wait Gauge! I am available!” She said sweetly her voice was of silk and all things soft and squishy. Alex took pity on the pup because he looked like he had been crying and his fur was all ruffled from what ever had happened. But while scanning his tiny frame she could see that he was not mortally injured because there was no blood dripping from his dirty fur coat. Because the she-wolf at first didn’t really know the extent of the injuries she was very nervous but calmed seeing that it wasn’t as bad as initially expected.

Alex approached gauge, “Thank you Gauge I can handle it from here. How did he get hurt?” She asked softly with not a hint of worry or judgement about this situation. So that Gauge could answer she hastily took the child from her, giving a curt nod to Maison who decided make an appearance, then turned around to retreat back into her den expecting Gauge to follow and inform her but Eros was already explaining the situation in a brief tear jerking summary.

The poor pup just tripped and probably jammed his paw roughly on the stump he was insulting while explaining it really wasn’t a big deal no reason to get worked up over such a small thing. A little rest in the pre-mentioned ice water in the den would more than likely alleviate the child’s pain and he would be able to go back to mucking about with some friends. With her conclusions drawn she took the pup to the ice water and set him down near it. ”Oh you poor poor precious little baby!” she said in an exaggerated fashion full of comical humor to make the boy laugh which he did softly. ”Listen here boy your gonna lay down and rest your little hurted paw in the ice water okay? It help the pain go away and help with any swelling that may occur. “ After Alex explained what he was going to do Eros had the obvious reaction of simply not wanting to because the water was cold and he didn’t like that. Alex assured him he would be fine and he did as told with some complaint. Kiddos get hurt when they play sometimes the only thing that matters is how the adult handles the situation.

Once the pup was comfy waddling his paw in the water with a look of relief on his face and even a smile when he started asking questions. Alex sighed softly then laid down and began to groom him in a similar fashion that big cats would.

Cypher was now laying before Dante, having regretted what he did to the male before him. He nibbled at the fur on his injured paw, hoping to help the pain it brought. Glancing up at Dante, his response shocked the male. " My fathers name was Zeus, my mother wolf told me stories about him. He died from a bear attack, how about yours?" He asked, currently wondering if it was just a coincidence that the brutes father's had the same name. He remember being left with the pack, after he was weaned, by his mother. But ultimately hr knew it was for the best. The Fae was not well, not after his father's death. She told Cypher, the lone surviving pup of his litter, all about his fathers amazing adventures. Maybe Dante had the same experience, or maybe he could at least understand how Cypher felt. Despite bring abandoned, he missed his mother dearly.

A content smile placed it self across the maw of the brute as he watched the back sides of the three speed racers disappear into the thicket of the woods that surrounded them a soft chuckle accompanied the smile once he could no longer see them. Now that he was alone he was able to approach the dead beast on the ground and began to rip into the flesh carving a way to the beasts heart until he was stopped by the rib cage which after his long effort had been exposed. He lifted a brow thinking inquisitively on how he would mange to get past the bone that protected the lungs and the heart but then it hit him he could break the ribs until he created an opening for his muzzle to grab the heart. Liberty reared upward then slammed his front paws downward onto the ribs individually until finally his weight started to snap the bone like twigs soon opening up a port hole large enough for a small she-wolfs head but it would suffice for this project. With the prospect of success on coming he tore at the squishy bloody flesh that made up the lungs until the path to the beasts no longer beating heart was clear and all Liberty had to do was retrieve it without much damage, which he did, not wanting the dirt to ruin this delectable delicacy that he had put in all that work to retrieve he set the heart on the beast and began to eat the rough thick blood flesh.

Now that he was eating of course something happened he heard the voice of Nova speak up and ask for Maison because his son had been hurt. Liberty remained calm about it he’d seen them run off so the worse he expected was that little man had tripped him self up trying to keep up with an adult. It was fine and Nova was quickly handling the situation as he expected so he knew Eros was in good paws but he did decide to start eating a bit faster so that he could check on the boy. But what happened next curdled the blood in his veins and had been near Maison at the time of that response to hold on Liberty would done to him what he did to Shy-Fawn. Eros situation took precedence over anything regardless the State of his injury. That was Maison’s duty to the pack and his only purpose. The fur on his neck bristled and he dropped the remainder of his delicacy licking the delicious blood from his teeth and lips. Liberty’s effort for the heart left an alarming amount of his muzzle drenched in blood adding to the disturbed grimace that formed on his face. First he would see to his son he thought then he would ‘kindly’ remind Maison of his only duty as lead healer.

Liberty was about to add to the noise that always seemed to be filling the sky box with a demanding response of his own that he was sure would motivate Maisons paws to act quickly and NEVER defy an order from his beta ever again he did not give a single fluff about the fact Nova was new to her position because her rank alone demanded respect she was his second in command Nova’s word was as good as his and he trusted her with that power. But, again Nova spoke asking the packs young healer Alexandria to see to the pup which was an even better order than before because Alex was a very dutiful wolf who understood her place so silently Liberty agreed with Nova’s decision to to do as she has done. Liberty hoped that this minor thing hadn’t cause his beta to run about like a chicken with their head missing.

The Alpha was content that the situation was handled and was about to finish his meal when Nova called out his name his head rose and his ears stood at attention as the she-wolf approached him informing him of the situation he’s heard announced in the conversation of howls so he didn’t flinch, “I heard. I also heard that you had it handled as quickly as it happened. Thank you.” He said after the brief silence before she continued his voice was calm but thick with an unspoken ever growing feeling that was not for Nova. One of his brows was lifted while she told him about Maison’s insubordination against her. So he did hear it true while he was eating. A frown replaced the indifferent look on his face and his honey colored eyes narrowed before he responded, “I will hold them accountable for their actions but I must visit the boy. You have my permission in the meantime to confront him and his company about their actions if you wish. I will join you Nova and you will have my support.” He nodded his head as a confirmation that was his opinion and his order, “Come. We shall return together should Maison and his company be there they will now I have been informed since you are with me.”

Shy Fawn had already done that...Well, he hadn't joined the other pack, though, they thought. They snorted and headed back towards Hyuuga. If no wolf was even going to let them explain, and seemed to think it was better if they'd been rude to Hyuuga, they were going back to him.

She was about to then answer, when Eros did instead...She didn't fault him, but then Alex whisked him away from her...Sne gave a low growl then cut herself off. "Okay...ill just go then," she said with a snort, trying to quell the maternal instinct. She looked up and around for Liberty. She momentarily wondered where he and Nova were even at...She then sighed and pushed that down. She shook her head a couple times, and let out a small sigh, looking over to Hyuuga and Maison. It seemed they'd already reached the entrance anyway. She hoped Liberty wouldn't be too harsh. For his own sake...as he could end up causing them to leave. Unlike Shy Fawn, they seemed to need a pack though, and they might go to Starlight...

He looked at Kuroyuki "Huh? A fight? Oh okay" he repeated a little bit confused about the situation here "I know Cypher was being very dumpy, but I quess he want to show up to the alpha and the lead warrior...I don't know if he likes the alpha and sees Dante as an obstacle to being a temporary beta" he said thoughtfully. He then shook his head "This is a sad situation to Kikui as I don't think the vigil will be held any time soon, maybe in the late evening or when all this pointless drama is over" he responded to him.

He flicked his ears as he heard the Kuroyuki 'That was a long wait...' he thought to himself. He lay at his nest a little bit longer, he didn't really know what got into him now as he felt sad and angry for some reason. He padded out of the den and looked around the clearing for a moment, seeing the buck there still in the same place they carried it 'What a waste...' he thought to himself as nobody was not even taking a bite of it 'Why do we even hunt when nobody eats nothing...' he kept thinking, completely ignoring the prey himself as he took out of the camp.

She took the rosemary around the Kikui's corpse, the mostly black wolf was not that black anymore, it was very clear by now that the wolf was not in this world any longer. She sighed as she left the dead wolf there waiting for the vigil, the palace was very hidden so the sun didn't get there to do anything bad to the body, but eventually, the dead wolf could need to be buried soon. She left the den and looked at the dead elk there, still untouched "Hay wolves, is anyone of you going to eat? The tensions are annoyingly high there now, but let's not waste food too...speaking of that our lead hunter almost died on this one..." she said on somewhat close voice. She then looked over to the pups still in the den "Pups, come out to eat" she called out of the pups.

She looked at the wall as she flicked her ears, she felt like nobody did nothing, they didn't play 'What was I even thinking about, this was a waste of time...or I am too old for this kind of game?' she started to think herself. She turned around seeing the pups there still standing "Okay just be honest, any of us are not really in the right mood to play games, this feels like force playing to do something" she said to them suddenly. She flicked her ears as she heard the healer's call "Do you want to eat? We seem to have food now" she said silently "Though I am not sure if I want to go out there, the tensions feel so high, almost like a poison" she said with a sight "I hate this day" she murmured mostly to herself.

Her eyes followed the other pups, flicking her tail as she noticed the uncomfortable feeling on the others. She looked at Yomi who suddenly broke the game she was planning to start "Yeah I feel that as well...maybe there is too much going on and everyone seems pretty out of the right mood" she said with a sigh. Actually, she felt that way, after the border trip to see Eros, everything seemed to be going the wrong way 'Please could this day be already over...' she thought to herself.

He got to the somewhat empty den, he saw only Chi sleeping at her nest there. He laid down on his nest and took a good position, before closing his eyes. He still heard the conversation between his younger brother and Kane outside of the den. He heard depression in Labrador's voice, he did feel a little uncomfortable and lonely when he watched the pack eating the buck. All of them had someone to talk to, he had nobody, and maybe Labrador felt the same way.

He laughed "I think there could not be pups very soon, as there are not many females to have them, only Nova, Alex, and River, Chi and Freya are still too young..." he said with a sight "Founding abandoned pups either is not that common or I hope it could not be...as it's kind of cruel and sad" he kept saying. He sighed once again "Actually I don't really know that either, he doesn't really speak about possible crushes or anything like that, I am not seen him even look at anyone in that way...he only lives to his tasks as a lead hunter," he said.

He slowly followed after the healer who got forward to the camp, to see what was going on there. He didn't really know that either, but he felt like it was nothing too serious. He got into the camp and looked around for the wolves there, then at Maison again who come back to him "Hmm, they didn't want you? why?" He asked him "Because of the wait? Hmm, well you could've left me there, I could've understood that..." he said to him. She watched the male trying to recognize was this male from the other pack or a loner, she didn't remember seeing the gray male wolf before, it was not like she really know many from the other pack at all. She flicked her tail a little bit as she sniffed the air 'Yep totally a Starlight wolf' she thought to herself "Who are you? You're Starligth wolf...right" she said suddenly. She knows that speaking to the other pack wolves otherwise, then in real cases was a crime. She could be a serious problem if someone saw her now, but she was curious yet bored. She was been thinking for a while about what it could be like to live in the other pack, could she meet their new wolves, maybe someone she could like? in her pack, there was Lycath, a male wolf who was near her age too, but there was something about him that little bit scared her.

Whilst she anticipated the hopefully calm reply, the uneasy feeling rolled a ring of stiff emotion tightly around her. To her surprise, sort of, Liberty had behaved as if the conversation they had before never even happened. Which made Nova’s unconfident emotion slowly begin to sink. There was no trace of anger, simply straight to the point and right where she desired for him to be in their conclusion.

Hearing the words slobber off his tongue on how well she handled the situation, made her proud in knowing she did good in handling herself with Maison. Even though she was sure the wolf meant no harm, there was a way that the pack was run. Maison had to agree to the terms in order to live there , peacefully anyway. Nova’s tail gracefully waved behind her pacing as she swiveled it in a wave like motion. She did her best when trying to handle the situation at paw , even if others did not agree with her decision. There was a certain level of urgency she expected when calling a healer to do their job. Nonetheless, she figured she could allow Maison to speak for himself in the matter and they talk it out. The beta softly took a sigh of relief from the immense amount of emotional anxiety she’d experienced prior to talking with Liberty.

Nova’s eyes never left Liberty as she attempted to read him like a book. Hunting for the bit of concern she knew he should have for Eros’ injury. Certainly, Nova would never allow Eros any serious harm. He’d finally mentioned going to see his son, in turn speeding up the slight wiggle of the Beta’s tail. Nova brought her tail to a halt and dipped her head towards Liberty. “You should see Eros first. I’ll handle Maison.” . Not with any intention to deny his command, but simply offer a solution to prevent him from cutting his time short with Eros. It was well needed , especially after the last couple of hours. This would give them both a little time to hash out the rowdiness from Eros and ensure that he’s comforted due to his incident.

The Beta now standing on all fours looked over in the direction of the healer’s den. A quick look over to Liberty to a slow walk by his side as she worked her way towards the healer’s den. “You made the right choice in your Beta. “ Once again trying to be confident with her words. Nova knew that he made the right choice choosing her. She is the most flexible after all and one of the best problem solvers in the pack.

“Howl if you need me..” were the last few words that Liberty would get from her for now. She lifted her head , holding it high as she made a run for it to catch up to Maison. She could spot indentations on the snow from someone’s paws, they seemed a little too small to be Maison’s paws. She glanced over her shoulder to see Alpha Liberty still standing where she’d left him , then back to the tracks she’d found. She thought nothing of it , thinking that maybe Gauge had let Eros walk it off if he wanted to. Nova had to admit , Eros is pretty darn adamant about doing things. His level of determination would take him places - one day.

She proceeded to walk the path that she remembered seeing the healer go. “Maison!” she barked towards him when she’d finally caught him in her view. This time, she’d give him the chance to turn around and speak to her. Maybe even explain to her why he felt the need to tell her to hold on earlier. It’s not that she was mad at him or did not want him around, every wolf had their duty to the pack.

The Beta’s stroll slowed as she spotted Hyuuga near. Her eyes watched as the Healer had begun to explain his side of the story. Younger Nova would quickly cut into the conversation and attempt to defend herself against the words that danced off the healer’s tongue. Her jaw clenched shut as she waited for the rest of the story between the pair. Shortly after Hyuuga mentioned his confusion with the entire situation the Beta cleared her throat to let them both know that she was there. “Good Morning, Hyuuga.” she spoke in confidence.

“Maison , I would like a word with you.” Nova spoke once more. Hoping that she would not have to deal with the anger that the wolf seemed to have forced out of nowhere. Maison’s body language , to her, read that he was upset about what had just happened. Even though he’d run off without a word or explaining anything to her nor Liberty , she would give him the benefit of doubt - a one time pass only.

Whatever Milo had missed out on between the other two, would go unanswered as the pair swiftly wrapped up the mix up. His focus remained on Akiro as he started to talk again. The topic about the pack members, something about Akiro’s change of snoot expressions, had piqued his curiosity. Of course, with Milo not knowing him well he decided that maybe he should not ask.

“I look forward to getting to know you better.” he barked with glee. Sooner or later he would get to know everyone as it was his goal when he finally felt embedded into the pack and that this was his home. For now , he’d probably stick with these two until he felt comfortable enough to go off and adventure on his own. He glanced over at River when Akiro asked him about where they were headed. “We were going to check out some local spots. To help me get familiar with the new territory.” he started before he turned his head to view Akiro once again. He did not exactly want to be rude and invite someone else - especially since River seemed hesitant about it. “But we decided to save that for another time. For now, we relax '' he stated as his paws lightly shoved the snow in front of him forward and he found himself in the lying position.

The stir of wind had come to a pause in track. Snow finally clearing away from Louie's view of the border line. His attention was quickly snatched up by Freya who seemed to be about 20 feet away from the borderline. The brute raised an eyebrow , curiously watching her in case she had any not so bright ideas. His tail sat stiff behind him , not alert of the she wolf. He stood on all fours again as she started to speak to him. This was the second time he had been questions about what pack he was in. Wasn't it obvious by his scent of where he belonged ?

Louie took a step closer, like he had done before with Cleo. Careful not to startle the she wolf as he did not mean her any harm. "Ask a question and then answer it yourself, interesting." he spoke aloud - his deep voice metaphorically breaking the ice. He tilted his head as he studied the female that stood on the other side of the border, a Redmoon wolf. He'd heard a bit about the pack from Dante, whenever the old grump decided to talk. It seemed that there is a long history of problems between the two of them.

He shook out his pelt from the flurries that landed when the snow had settled a few moments ago. "You would be correct little lady. I am from starlight." he nodded in agreement to her question and answer. "What brings you to the border?" Now it was his turn to ask the questions. After all those with the most questions control the conversation. He knew that all too well. His gaze completely focused on the she wolf, noticing how her frame was similarly built to his daughter's. 'The female must be very young.'

They shook their head and said "I'm assuming that's why...I wasn't going to take more than a few seconds, telling you would have only taken seconds. They felt skin warming up under their fur. They had a crush on him, but they didn't think they were his type...He seemed to like big and strong wolves. Kind of like Liberty maybe. They weren't really sure on that, if Hyuuga could be attracted to the alpha. They figured some of the wolves here might be, though. Shaking their head, they nearly jumped as some wolf made a sound nearby...

They slowly turned to see it was Nova, and let out a small sound. "Beta..." they said, and glanced to Hyuuga a moment. They then shook their head a couple times. They sighed quietly as they hoped he hadn't been startled like they were. She seemed so silent sometimes...as if she wanted to be. Maybe she didn't want to be, they didn't know. All they knew was she was asking to have a word with them. They said "Yes..." and flicked their tail a couple times. Their ears went back a moment, then twitched forward once more. They then nodded to the female as well. They glanced back to Hyuuga a moment, dipping their head. They raised it again, and stepped a couple steps towards Nova.

Deep foresty green eyes with gold ringing the pupils looked around. The white foot black phase she wolf was inside the den already...She jumped a bit as she heard the other voice. "Oh, um...sorry...I didn't see you there." She then sighed as Alex seemed to treat Maison the same way Nova had. Maybe she wasn't, but it sure seemed like it. She said "Why are you treating them like that? It sounded like, from their howl, they were with another wolf. They obviously didn't want to just run off without a word. Would you, if you were the one with another wolf you were trying too be friends with or whatever, really just run off? Would you not say anything? I think that's kind of rude, and it only takes a second."

She was about to then answer, when Eros did instead...She didn't fault him, but then Alex whisked him away from her...Sne gave a low growl then cut herself off. "Okay...ill just go then," she said with a snort, trying to quell the maternal instinct. She looked up and around for Liberty. She momentarily wondered where he and Nova were even at...She then sighed and pushed that down. She shook her head a couple times, and let out a small sigh, looking over to Hyuuga and Maison. It seemed they'd already reached the entrance anyway. She hoped Liberty wouldn't be too harsh. For his own sake...as he could end up causing them to leave. Unlike Shy Fawn, they seemed to need a pack though, and they might go to Starlight...

The reddish looking male twitched darker reddish or brown ears. The darker or brown tipped tail flicked from time to time. His eyes looked between them once more. He nodded to River, saying "If you're sure..." then trailing off. He then let his eyes wander back to Milo. He fought down a blush as the other seemed to look him over, and his tail stopped moving. His ears went back shyly, then he shook his head a couple times. He said "I um...it's a pleasure to meet you too."

He then blinked as the other said River had been telling him about him. He tilted his head at this for a small moment. He then figured she'd told Milo about quite a few of the wolves. He wasn't special, it wasn't just him that River would have told Milo about. He shook his head a couple more times. He then nodded to the other male, and smiled a canine smile. "I...I'm glad she told you about me, us. It must have been very helpful," he said to the other, then asked "Were you two...heading somewhere?"

He sighed and said "You may just be right...Cypher and Dante do both seem strangely close to her, or...interested in her. I think they may have been puphood friends, though. I'm not really sure on that," he said. He shook his head, thinking I don't stand a chance with Dante, then... He rolled his eyes, then said "Yeah...um...are you hungry?"

The pretty but handsome smaller and slender golden pup nodded. Brown ears twitched as the brown tipped tail flicked. Brown and blue eyes looked outside a moment. He blinked and shook his head, focusing on Yomi and about to start moving. However, then she said maybe they shouldn't play...He sighed, but only shook his head, and twitched his ears too. He'd heard the call, so he said "Yeah, let's go out. She's calling us to go eat...so we may as well," he said to the girls.

The ebony brutes golden eyes narrowed slightly at the comment made by Cypher, how could after what they’ve done to each other just carry on like nothing happened? It didn’t really matter the lead fighter saw himself as the victor of another meaningless brawl over another pack mate once again. Dante thought briefly before calculating his response. Cyphers father was named Zeus? How could this be possible probably just a coincidence but his father was mauled by a bear as well surely that couldn’t be. Now with his curiosity peaked no longer holding the same opinion as just moments ago he needed to know now, “….My father too was mauled by a grizzly bear…then shortly after his death my mother Ryder disappeared. I never saw her again. I was little more than a pre-teen when her absence occurred.” He commented in response to Cypher’s question. After his response his thoughts became relentless searching every corner of his mind for any situation that could keep him from thinking that Cypher, besides their shared likeness, were brothers but he couldn’t because his memory failed him all he could remember from his youth was failed relationships, successes in his field of expertise, and then eventually falling in love with Weiss. Nothing in his head pointed to the fact him and Cypher shared more than just their black coat.

On the off chance that this conversation proved they were kin he felt he would be proud to have Cypher as his younger brother because it would be the fist sibling he knew of and because Cypher was no wimpy kid, today Dante had learned theat his partner the lead hunter of the pack was no slouch and would hold his own even against failing odds. Not a quality Dante has but it was one he respected.
