On another note i feel is important: mods can sound rude with their monotone typing, this always scares me as a person who has trouble detecting tone.

they definitely need to work on not sounding like they're trying to intimidate you lol
maybe we can turn "oekaki is for drawing, not writing" (< extremely annoying, btw) into something a little nicer?

This. The oekaki is for drawing not writing. It aggravates me so much. it’s excluding all typography. I love typography and experimenting with fonts and colors in my art, typography IS art

I feel a bit like a broken record at this point, but I really suggest setting up suggestion threads for things you all would like to see changed ^^ Rules have been changed before based on feedback from suggestion threads so its very possible something like this could be amended, but its not likely to happen without a suggestion thread.

i dont want to sound awful, but.... how many suggestion threads have been shut down for valid recommendations? how many times did users (me included) get told off for asking a question? how many times did the mods abuse their power and the higher ups not care?
i know maybe im petty or upset, but the way me as well as friends and other users have been treated is... upsetting. "make a suggestion thread" people have been. its just sad because the admins arent listening to us.
this is 100% not against you or any other good mod. but its certainly not easy to make a suggestion thread and wait for changes to be made, especially when no one listens yknow?
also, ik its been a few pages now but also agree with the C$ stuff. it was fun trading for it years ago but now its literally EVERYWHERE.
