--In their hearts, the clan knows that Thymesong's time in ChaosClan has ended. Hemlockflame closes her eyes, the grief filling her soul and causing her to never let her kits out of her sight. The kits barely were old enough to get to know their mother, Hemlockflame vowing to make sure they know who Thymesong was and to honor her kind and gentle spirit.
--Darkfang is getting desperate, realizing that he won't be able to have the grip on his kits that he wanted with Thrushdive's watchful eye over them. In a fit of rage and desperation, he steals the kits away and runs away from the clan during the night. He hides out in the small hideout of the remnants of the Dark Crows. The rogue group is outnumbered by ChaosClan, but the rogues prepare with a vengeance, hoping to take out the leadership of the large clan and infiltrate and take over, regardless of their lack of numbers. Darkfang wants his revenge.
--Charstar and Foxstar organize search parties for the missing kits, Lichendust now sure of what it's seen with Darkfang being true. The clan once again prepares for a battle with the rogues, realizing they have no idea how many Dark Crows remain and what they need to expect. Still, they stay and prepare defenses rather than trying to run or find them, deciding uniting is better than scattering in this moment.

despite helleborewhisper not being able to talk with honeydrizzle, the ginger tabby enjoys his company. the two watch the ocean at night. when honeydrizzle sits down, her fur brushes helleborewhisper's. she doesnt seem to notice, but helleborewhisper does. his mind goes blank and it feels like electricity is surging through his body. the gray tabby freezes

newttongue's patrol brings back an adult. he introduces himself as skunk and asks to join the clan. isopodstar freezes once he sees skunk. that pelt is all too familiar. he tries to get rid of his thoughts but all he can see is a black and white pelt covered in blood.

"newttongue told me you're the leader. can i join your clan? if i do, can my name be... skunkswipe? it sounds cool!"

even the cat's name sounds too familiar to badgerbite.

but isopodstar nods. with a faux grin he mews, "the more cats, the merrier."

but he can't help but shiver.

marshpaw becomes a trainee. her dad is so happy

wrenspark is ecstatic to hear that the cat he met at the gathering is expecting his kits. but then he wonders how his best friend will feel.

season: greenleaf / summer
the territories are in full bloom during the hottest time of the year. prey is bountiful during
this time of the year, and herbs can be found in abundance. kittings will be handled smoothly,
and cats are still around who might be in need of a new home. however, predators are also
fond of the warm weather, and cats who overwork themselves may find themselves suffering
from dehydration and exhaustion.

he closes his eyes tightly as the final life surges through him, but also willing lunapelt to stay with him as long as possible - drinking in every possible second he has with her. but then she steps back, and he opens his eyes. he doesn't want her to go, he can't lose her again, he -

but then, snowstar approaches him. the previous leader of northclan and his predecessor, he'd served under snowstar for each of the commander's nine lives before he lost his final life to famine. northclan had died out because of lack of prey in their lands during leafbare - he'd watched his clanmates slowly starve, unable to do anything to save them... including lunapelt and his commander. northwind had barely made it himself, slowly turning to skin and bones until finally, prey had returned and the famine had ended. but by then... he was the only one left.

snowstar had been a strong and courageous commander... one of the best. he could still remember everything the tom had taught him... and he'd given him the gift of honor. the snowy white tom's amber-colored eyes looked with pride and joy at him now. "i hail you by your new name, northstar. you have now received the nine lives of a commander, and starclan grants you the guardianship of northclan. defend it well; care for young and old; honor your ancestors and the traditions of the warrior code; live each life with pride and dignity."

one by one, the cries of starclan rose up within the starry night sky of the mountains, "northstar! northstar! northstar!"

with a gasp, the newly-named northstar awoke beside the moonpool, trembling slightly - it was as if he could feel the strength of each of the nine lives coursing through his body before being slowly absorbed within him. with his one eye, he peered into the soft light of the cave - he was still alone. he knew it would be a long while before northclan was restored to it's former glory...but starclan is counting on him. snowstar, lunapelt, and all of his lost clanmates are counting on him.

heaving himself to his paws, the tom shook out his fur, before padding to the entrance of the cave.
