I was wondering, what ARE the most popular species on Chickensmoothie? I've always assumed it's the dog but is that truth or legend? So I made a poll to find out!

I'm gonna guess eastern dragon or lion. I feel like they're pretty popular

I'd be interested to see a similar poll but instead of official species, ones that have been modified and used fairly frequently. Like sitting mice, hedgehogs, frogs, fluffy rats etc. But I guess what counts here would be Very Subjective haha.

It’s not the Eastern Dragon or Lion, but those are great guesses, both of those species have a lot of votes!

Also, the dog has now caught up again, so I don’t know what is going to win this. It’s a close race!

A poll with the unusual species is a good idea, but yeah I also see what you mean about subjectivity! It would be tricky to decide which lineart edits qualify as their own species. Although maybe including lineart edits isn’t a bad thing either, I wonder whether floppy-ear or pointy-ear dogs are more popular.

We’re at 47 responses. I’d like to try for 100 at least before ending, I hope we can get that many!

Hmm, this one's a tough one, honestly, because there are individual pets of most species that I absolutely love and adore and likewise there are individual pets of most species that I don't like at all.

I don't really love pets based on just their species, it takes more than that!
I'll have to sit down at my computer and take a good look at the pet linearts after work tomorrow so I can participate in this poll. Very much interested in the results! :D

Edit: oh and it would be really interesting to see the entire final list, not just the top 10 ^.^

Guessing it's lion, as I voted lions as well!
Posting here to see results further along, curious to see the numbers.
I chose lions not just because I collect all of them, but because of the lineart and it's flexibility. It's simple, it's cute, and it's had so many noteworthy designs on the site!
