I wanted to be an animator in high school, so I studied art in college. Wrist pain and not getting to decide what or how I'd draw kind of sucked the joy out of drawing for me, even though I improved from a technical standpoint.

I played recorder in primary/elementary school. Could never get past a certain 'belt' because one of the songs they wanted us to play was sad and would remind me of the fish I just lost so I could never play it without crying. I've also tried my hand at a couple other instruments, but recorder was probably the closest I could come to playing an instrument. I recently wanted to retry the harmonica xD
