i didn't quit, just kinda forgot about it. but i agree that difficulty getting pets you want is a big thing, and i feel like there are just way too many pets overall. i wish they'd release fewer monthly pets, most of them feel kinda boring? not that they're bad, just. not really anything super interesting. also i feel like the closed species community is a little toxic sometimes but it might just be my personal experience.

I suggest an auction house like Flight Rising has. That way the prices for pets can be in the hands of the people.

Example:
(Hypothetically) A VR pet from 2008 is valued at 10k chicken dollars.
Someone puts it up on the auction house for 10k.
Someone else then comes along and puts the same exact pet up for 9k.
Because with an auction house system undercutting is allowed.

Then maybe people could afford their dreamies!

Flight Rising also has two forms of currency. Treasure and gems. Perhaps something like that could be implemented as well.
Much like tokens at event time, maybe everyday tokens for people to collect?

I've just seen this thread and there are way too many pages to read through so apologies if this is redundant,

but I feel like it's entirely possible that a significant portion of the site's playerbase has simply outgrown the theming / content of this site (myself included) which is obviously natural, but not much is being done to advertise this site to replace these players with new ones...
I don't think this site is particularly easy to stumble upon, much less seek out for those interested in this type of content. In terms of PR, what few online reviews there are of CS seem to be overwhelmingly negative.

Totally agree with the points being made about the site's economy, and some (actually meaningful) freebies or even playtime-locked rewards would be nice. However, in regards to the complaints about store pets, while I do completely understand, legally and morally it'd be a no-no to advertise content as limited and then bring it back without having explicated that there's a chance for this "limited content" to return in the future, so admin's hands are probably tied in that regard.

I’m glad others like my idea! I always thought a feature suggestion thing would be neat too. I think less known artists should get more love, I’m so happy staff have been featuring more people lately.

Yeah! Like a free currency that people can get a random small amount every so often with a banner that could say (you found something shiny!) or something similar to that!
