I've seen ideas for mini-events! Can be small holidays, or just little site-made events, maybe lasting a few days or so.
They can have cute little themes, new small groups of pets or items, maybe forum games, dressups, ect!

I'd love some sort of monthly/weekly challenge that like.. actually rewards players with something for completing it?
I never do the dress up challenges or the oekaki challenges because there's.. no incentive.
Events are fun because there is incentive to participate! But they are infrequent which I totally understand because they are a LOT of work for staff. I don't need more events.
But like.. I want something to do that rewards me for doing it? Especially if we could be rewarded with older pets so that helps get them back into the economy and makes sure they go to active users?
I play too many gacha games but I'm always out there doing my weeklies and my monthlies because I get stuff for it!

Speaking of mini-events, when celebrating special days like "World Ocean Day" or something, could there be an announcement that says there will be new adopts the next day? I personally like adopting right at rollover in case some things still need to grow. That's hard to do if you don't know if there's something to adopt. I do love the surprise but it also makes me kind of anxious :p

I also just want to add that while I understand why this thread was made, it's not really a useful format for us to bump suggestions up, hence why the rest of this board is one suggestion per thread. If you had a suggestion over the course of this thread that you want taken seriously, the best way for us to do that is if it has its own thread in this board.
Please also make sure to check if it's been posted before and support the previous post if it has, as that helps us see which are more popular. And the directory at the top of the board, as that has a list of suggestions that have been definitely rejected.

I just want to quote this since it seems like it got buried. If the doc is just for you guys that's totally fine but in terms of getting a suggestion actually implemented it doesn't really help us help you to get it seen.
